If I was going to do the 2026 GGR, that would be the boat I would buy, if I didn't fit out one myself. Holy cow, he did a great job, the rig is brilliant, the interior set up too, the dodger/helm configuration... dang. I love the motion of the older designed, more narrow boats as well. He's doing very well in the race currently.

In this GGR when in the southern ocean boats have been demasted , capsized ,dekeeled , knocked down , rolled over , and pitch poled but they seem to float until the skipper is rescued. However Tapio had to take to his life raft in the southern ocean after being swamped and sunk. Rescued buy skipper Kirsten Neuschäfer and transfered to a ship. November 19 , 2022 and it is amazing and he is safe.
