There's ways to get natural positive bonus, it has something to do with your tension pulse increasing to the point where it reaches the positive bonus limit. The most straightforward way is to do 3 supers in quick succession because supers increases that tension pulse the most, although it puts you in meter penalty which is why you usually only see it after getting positive bonus through gold burst or wall break first and then getting a natural positive bonus again by doing a really long string. In this situation particularly though... I don't think he did enough to get natural positive bonus so I'm also confused 😅

@@KingAfrica4 the super tl;dr is Gold Burst tension reset (12500) -> 2 supers (+10000) + 1 instant block (+1000) actually does put you super close to the natural positive bonus threshold (25000). Mathing out the rest of the actions idk but it seems logical enough.

Guessing cause he did 2 supers, you can get positive from offensive actions (and lots of instant blocks) doesn't have to be wallbreak

Short answer: Tension Balance Long answer: Tension Balance is a modifier used to determine the final Tension Gain modifier - the more offensive actions you take, the more Tension you will gain. Aside from simply attacking and advancing towards the opponent, performing Overdrives or successfully performing Instant Blocks greatly increase your Tension Balance. After Tension Balance reaches a certain threshold, positive bonus is granted even without a wall break
