Luke ends up letting out that Robert and HOLLY were with him in Mexico. Laura is a little upset.. in a fun, loving kind of way. Laura gets to telling Luke about her surprise (..another one of my favorites... but I can say that about almost every scene Toy Geary and Genie Francis do together!!)

This is one of my fave L&L moments. They are both so fantastic here and you get every emotion all in once scene. And the look on Luke's face when he realizes is just priceless.

I seconded that emotion! These two EOIC actors can never be duplicated in any ay shape or form... Like the song said ain’t notting like the real thing...”oh baby”...... That and there devotion to there acting craft......! Brilliant pure and simple....well maybe not that simple....just EPIC. Always! Loving GH. Rosie!

So true!! I read an article where TG said he'd never forget doing this scene with GF. It hit him that she'd never said those words to anyone yet, and he was unlikely to hear them irl, so he felt even more immersed and close to her during these scenes.

Genie experienced everything onscreen before she did in real life. Her first kiss, being in love, marriage, childbirth, being a mother, it is truly her ability as an amazing actress that she was able to flawlessly portray all these events with so much emotion. Plus, her beauty is beyond comparison, the Elizabeth Taylor of our 80's generation.

Yeah.. he's so adorable here.. not a term we ever use for Luke unless he is with Laura!

Yes unless he is with Laura. Well that is if he is with....let me see. If Luke is not with Holly,Lucy, Felicia,Emma or perhaps maybe Skye aah Anna,Tracy, that very pretty Mexican Woman. While your you know wife Laura you do remember Laura don't you...Luke? She was the one pregnant with your son Lucky...right? Ok so you hooked up with Holly got her pregnant also.. you remember your best buddies Robert...hay now. Wow I wonder just how many more Lady's of PC you have been with....Oh yes let us not forget lil old Jennifer Smith shell we. No I don't think so Lukey baby you are just never satisfied are well I guess you really did it your way hay ..Come on Luke fess up you will never love another....but yourself...am I right or you just did it your way. I miss him!! He adds such flare to the show!! TG and TR their dynamic.. it's amazing. I also love that he played in Rescuers Down Under when I was a kid!

That "pin me down" line had to be an ad lib atleast on the way he delivered it. Laura's laugh was from Genie, not Laura if you know what I mean....

Yeah.... THIS Laura IS Laura... the one and only Laura ... I swear her breakdown was due to Helena.....so wish they would go there!!

Luke not wanting kids is so bogus. I hate every time Lulu says "Luke never want me" I want to throw him finding out about her, and then when she was born and Lucky is holding her, show her those scenes!! Tell me Luke didn't want you. Blah. Writers.

I'm Southern: We would say it like this: Lulu, honey, your daddy wanted you both you and your big brother from the very first moment he found out about each of you! He was so in love with your Momma, and so tickled and excited, he was about to bust. He dragged everyone into that hospital room to look at you! You and your brother were his shining pride!

Luke was HAPPY to be husband and future father in 1984 . GH writers RUIN the character Luke Spencer after LuLu was born. Luke all of a sudden NEVER wanted to be a family man.

Laura has come a long way loving a beard. Remember how she had to shave Luke on the Cassadine Island, with the shell before she would let me kiss her. :-)

He is quoted as saying that he perfected the act of lying as a child (in preparation for being an actor).... I think in real life you couldn't trust a thing the guy said!!! It completely freaks me out that you could conjure up emotion that is so genuine. I wonder if being an actor, of this calliber, is something you do, or something you are ??

I say a bit of both! That is what makes for EPIC acting! BothTG/Luke& GF / his Laura. Always no other couple could ever take there place.....EVER! JMVHO. Rosie always truthful!

It is not as hard as you think to conjure up the emotions. You just put yourself into the heart and mind of the person you are portraying. There are some things that can be harder to do like cry on command and very intimate moments in front of others (the crew) can be challenging but even these things can be learned and perfected. TG and GFs chemistry is the hard thing. Chemistry between actors is either there or it's not and makes a huge difference to the authenticity of scenes. They are both great at subtlety as well in their acting. When it comes down to it though, we are all actors. "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women players" (Shakespeare). We all act every day in so many capacities. I think that's why we admire TG and GF so much because of their excellence in doing it!

Yeah... the characters were so true to form then, and TG and GF did a crazy, insane, wonderful job with the scene.. and the writing back in the day was just so good. (when they weren't all improvising! ; ) )

@izzatluv Oh Luke and Felicia! Disgusting! They had no chemistry! 0 chemistry! It grossed me out! I couldn't wait until they ended it. He was not in love with her but she was in love with him.

He's so much like my little brother it's like seeing him at times. His looks and his mannerisms. We used to watch Luke in the 70's and talk about it all the time. Over time the resemblance grew even stronger, except he died at 58, before he was as old as TG. We lost him in 2019, now we send each other videos ( my siblings & I) when we find one that's his twin. Oddly enough, my little sister was a beauty, looked like Laura in these years through the 90's. We lost her too. Kind of a strange coincidence, I think.

YAY! :) Now you see his face? :) He is very excited! He has tears in his eyes! He WANTS children! WITH Laura! :) But without Laura is is so lost. :( So much in pain. :(

According to him he had an affair with Liz Taylor so not completely. He retired in Amsterdam so I'd say that is significant, though, lol. And his appearance is very much that direction now.
