Really well said. I was shocked when I saw the Israeli guy acting all offended about someone saying “stop genocide”, it’s insane. I really hope Ghali keeps thriving and his career doesn’t tank and his public is going to stick with him, because then more artists might feel like speaking out is okay for them too. I went to a gig for a rather historic band from Italy, and they have a song about the genocide in their latest album, and at the gig I went to they had “free Palestine” in big letters all across the stage and the whole public cheered. That’s why I think the vast majority of people in Italy is with Palestine and our mainstream media doesn’t represent us. I hope things change. I hope the genocides all across the world stop. I hope whatever i do to spread the actual correct data turns out to in some way serve the purpose of stopping this inhumane slaughter. I really hope the little drop of water I’m putting out there is going to do something for these people suffering through pains I cannot probably even imagine nor comprehend. I hope I’ll get to see Palestine being free within my lifetime, but even if that doesn’t happen I really hope I’ll get to see freedom come a step closer. Free Palestine, and free humanity from the clutches of colonialism and white supremacy. Because honestly, white supremacy is making everyone miserable and divided from each other, including white people.

When I think of the "big" Italian singers I used to love, I'm utterly disgusted and put off at their cowardly silence. Laura Pausini and Tiziano Ferro in particular, had a lot to say immediately and without after October 7, yet have now remained SILENT. How quick they were to put out a message on their instagram but turn a blind eye to the thousands of men, women and children slaughtered.
