Javed Ahmed Ghamidi is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, a Quran scholar, and an educationist. Mr. Ghamidi is a student of Maulana Amin Ahsan Islahi and Maulana Abul A’la Maududi. Mr. Ghamidi has authored several books, including the bestseller ‘Meezan’, in which he presents a comprehensive treatise on the entire content of Islam. Mr. Ghamidi is a researcher and a critical thinker who has challenged many aspects of the traditional Muslim schools of thought on the basis of evidence from Quran and sunnah.

سر میرا خیال آپ سے تھوڑا مختلف ہے ۔ میں نہیں سمجھتی کہ مذہب کا دائرہ کار سائنس اور فلسفہ سے بلکل مختلف ہے ۔ مثال کے طور پر قرآن کریم میں نماز قائم کرنے کا حکم ہے اسکے ادا کرنے کا طریقہ ہمارے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سکھایا ۔ میرے خیال میں دنیا کے تمام علوم کی head line قرآن مجید میں دی ہوئی ہے۔ کہیں ارشاد ہوتا ہے کہ " تم میری نشانیوں پر غور کیوں نہیں کرتے " ۔کہیں حکم ہوتا ہے کہ" میری کائنات کو مسخر کرو " اور کہیں علم حاصل کرنے پر زور دیا گیا ہے۔ تو اس میں تمام علوم شامل ہیں اور اس کے لئے عقل و شعور عطا کیا گیا ہے ۔سر آپ " قرآن قیامت تک کے لیے مکمل ضابطہ حیات ہے " کی مکمل نفی اور انکار کر رہے ہیں ۔

اصل تو سائینس ہے، مذہب ذیادہ تر قصے کہانیاں ہیں، جو مزہب سائنس پ پورا نہیں اترتا,وہ لمبی عمر نہیں پا سکتا، سہولیات، آسانیاں ہمیں مذہب نے نہیں دیں،بلکہ سائنس نے دی ہیں۔ مذہب اور فرقے ،پیسہ اکٹھا کرنے والی ایجنسیاں ہیں۔

سر مزھب ساٸنس نہیں یہ وہ طریقہ ھے جو انسانوں نےاپنے فاٸدے کےلیے دین سے الگ ھوکر نکالا یا اختیار کیا ۔کیا دین ھماری معاشرتی معاشی ثقافتی ضروریات پوری نہیں کرتا کہ ھمنے اپنی من کی تسلی کےلیے اسکے متوازی طریقےنکال لیے میں مسلمانوں کے مختلف مزاھب کے ماننےوالوں سےسوال کرتا ھوں ھم سنی یا شیعہ کیوں ھیں ھم فرق رکھتے ھیں اختلاف کرتے ھیں کس باتپر اگر امور پر تو اسے مزھب کیوں بنایا مزھب سے تو سوال اٹھتا ھے ایک نیا الگ دینی راستہ
