Hey Nana, thank you for the information. To be honest, we have allowed people to come into our country and treat us as if we are second class citizens. We allow people from different nationalities to dictate how things should be. But if you go to any other country in Africa or outside of Africa...this will not be a discussion. You either abide by the rules or you leave...period!!

The first time I went to Ghana 🇬🇭 was in 2019 and I witnessed some appalling behavior by the Chinese in a town called Berekum. I was walking down the road towards the home 🏠 I was renting when I stumbled on to people having a heated argument. 3 Chinese men had beaten 2 Ghanaian men because they said that the men had called them out of there names. They where speaking Twi so it was hard to understand what was going on but a friend of mine was making me aware of what the issue was. The Ghanaian men where angry because the Chinese men where destroying a piece of forest 🌳 that was considered sacred by the local people. The Chinese men would contract local workers to do jobs like cutting down the forest 🌳 and slave labor type work for literally pennies on the dollar. The Chinese men where calling local people monkeys and all kinds of derogatory term’s. The 2 Ghanaians where simply confronting the 3 Chinese contractors to tell them that they should respect the local people and the country of Ghana 🇬🇭 it’s self. The Chinese men called them monkeys and they then confronted the 2 Ghanaian men and began to beat them up. I’m a African American and I couldn’t even imagine something like this happen to one of us without a serious price to pay. I was shocked how the locals just stood around and let these Chinese thugs just walk off after beaten there country men. The Chinese are literally in Ghana 🇬🇭 as the new exploiters , from what I’m told the Chinese that are doing galamsey in Ghana 🇬🇭 are directly funded by the CCP. This is why this woman could easily get back into Ghana 🇬🇭 to start destroying the land again. We as African people globally have to stop this madness happen to us everywhere. Why can any nation just walk into Ghana 🇬🇭 or any other African country and feel comfortable doing something like this. If this where China 🇨🇳 and a African would have been caught destroying there land, he or she would have been put to death in a slave labor camp. We as African people need a emancipation of our minds. Why do we allow these foreigners who are poor with no resources, come into our country and disrespect us like this smh. I’m not a Ghanaian but this angered to the core that this woman is destroying such a beautiful land.

It's soooo sad. Clearly, some of our people give them permission to do this because imagine me randomly digging with heavy machinery in another country. Ugh. Very frustrating. I really think the government is taking it seriously now that we all are following this story. Unacceptable!

@@NanaAshanti I’m seeing a change though in the minds of Ghanaian’s. It seems that many Ghanaian’s who have been abroad and witnessed how African people are treated are coming back to Ghana 🇬🇭 with a whole different mind set. They have a activist mentality and want to see Ghana 🇬🇭 prosperous into the future. I’m not saying the local people aren’t doing anything but I think the youth who are coming back have a more pan African mind frame. They seem to understand the importance of land ownership and black business closed loop 🔁 systems to keep money circulating. I’m even amazed how fast the country is developing, every time I travel there it seems a new highway 🛣 or infrastructure project has been completed. Ghana 🇬🇭 is in a very good position to be the spearhead of west Africa. I’m just happy to see hope for us African Americans to have a place to call home besides America. Keep up the good videos.

Sonofafrica… treachery is how we ended up in the Americas and the Caribbean. The Chinese have studied African history and their pathology and moved full speed ahead on conquering the continent. Our men are weak, treacherous. Insipid, corrupt, and full of self hate. So I’m not surprised by what you witnessed. I would have kept on walking. None of my business…

This has been going on for years. But always overlooked but the govt. Ghana needs change. Import too much. As you say is rich in resources but very little exporting. For Gh to change that needs to change. Chinese are wishing to takeover everywhere. I could go on, but won't.

Those who think that other Ghanaians equally sneak back into countries they've been previously barred have a rather reductionist, myopic & simplistic view, to say the least. How can this lady's nefarious behaviour be proportionate to an illegal alien, who is nicodamously working all the hrs God sent them, just so their family can survive? Which country can one brazenly defy the laws of the land like this? China for that matter? No Sirrrr!!! Alas! I can't fathom the reasons for encouraging this Chinese woman to remain in Ghana having read snippets of her shenanigans!😮. In my days, we used to call it " bottom power"! But I fail to spot what assets dearest Aisha has to be flaunting at the powers that be, to gain such incredible favours? Unless, of course there's an august, politically well connected silent partner in all this???🤔☹ Nana, it's ABSOLUTELY great to jog our memory & to resurrect such topical issues!! It's in the public interest. Thank U!!🙌🏾

I am just praying ghana will not be colonized again by chinese. They are enthroned as kings, treat people like crap in the businesses they set up in ghana. How many ghanaians can be made monarchs in china or set up businesses there.

Colonialism? In this big 2022? That's not going to happen. I don't think they shouldn't set up businesses here either. Investment is good for the country and the employable population. We just need to do a better job checking them.
