Adoption in general, is of a child. This concept of adopting an old person is very unique and heart touching! It's a wonderful thought and I hope more and more people will give wings to this concept! The whole team has done a wonderful work. Congratulations!!

Gupto has evolved so beautifully as an actress! Watching her on-screen is such a delight! I love how the director and the storyteller craft this piece! It is surreal. Without a single dialogue, the last scene is so moving. It just goes straight to your heart. It will stay with you for a long time. Thank you @blush for this gem!

This brought a tear to my as I’m a single woman full time working always thankful that I have my mother to look after - was a double carer until my father passed away - all the hardships are worth it and this is an amazing concept however I have seen around me the Indian generation that has moved to the IK have no interest in the elderly - I expected them to offer help and no one does - I have been able to balance life and work very well - my Mum’s love and friendship is what drives me 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I’ve never thought of it as a chore - it always feels natural to look after them ❤

This is absolutely beautifully scripted and in today’s time, makes complete sense. The presence of a most senior citizen is always a blessing at the end of the day. Maturity to go back home to, after a long day. ❤ I moved lock stock to be a care giver to my widowed independent mom in 2020 who was ailing. Was told hire a nurse, put her in an old age home, or an institution, u have a life to go back too, did none of that for many many long months, I have no regrets. If she took care of me as a child and teen and a budding woman to be and tolerated my BS, y would I abandon her. I would even adopt my other widowed fmly members too if the time came and need be. 😊🎉

This is exactly why this film is made. Nothing is more important than family, parents. Not money, not luxury, not alone time. There's a very sweet line in the film, Piku - "Ek age ke baad, parents apne aap zinda nahi reh paate.. unhein rakkhaa jaata hai.." You're doing a great job, keep at it. Much love :)

As a 17 year old i always wanted to comfort elderly people and this video just brings tears to my eyes. Such a nice message, maybe one day in future I will be capable of doing something like this. And i request to anyone reading this please don't neglect them, they are the purest souls, just look at the smile of the lady in the video it just defines innocence and love. I hope our generation become mature and empathetic to not only our parents but to others as well and make a respectful environment for them. Thankyou so much for this video

Beautiful short-film. In India, it's still rare for single women to adopt a child, let along adopting an elderly person. In a civilized society, where family values are strong, we won't need any "Old Age Homes" (so hate this term) for the elderly. But having said that, parents ought to take good care of their children with love and affection, which the children would be more than happy to reciprocate when such parents become elderly citizens needing care, and who better than their own children. I have observed that it's often people who have neglected or abused their children in their childhood, who end up in "Old Age Homes". The emotional connect with a loving & caring parent should be so strong that one should never have to leave one's parent in foster care in their old age.

I lost my grandmother few months ago. I literally started crying as she entered the house with the walking stick. Oh gosh I miss my grandmother so much. Consider yourself lucky if you have your grandmother with you. Call her and tell her how much you love them🫂. This video is so beautiful . ❤ Beautiful.. The ending was a surprise, am sure lot of the viewers didn't expect it. So, true a new type of adoption. One must welcome all the lovely people who can make a HOUSE a HOME. Correct Real Ghar is with the presence, care and love of seniors. No alternative to the presence of a senior in life. This could be best judged by the presence of parents. Seniors just need presnece of some loved one around them, nothing else. That's why the gist of this Short is: "Life's currency is not Money but Presence," and elders just require PRESENCE in the autumn of life. The best lesson for today's fast-paced generation if they try to learn & emulate. Superb outcome in all sections of film-making.

Ohh man,this new prospective on adoption,i didn't think abt it. It's absolutely amazing. This make me think that I don't have time for my grandmother, i don't have anything to talk to my parents. Career is all i can think abt, I'm desperately working to make career while loosing most important thing being with parents. I'm disappointed in myself.
