I got married in the basement of the preacher's house. Total cost----$5 to the preacher! Two children (a doctor and an aerospace/aeronautical engineer) and two grandsons later, we'll be celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary next month (July2017)!!!

I think that people are commenting more on the subject of the video which is simply ghetto street weddings not their luv for each other or how much money was spend or not or even God blessing the union. Simply, it is a Ghetto Wedding, that's it. Nothing wrong with it and it's interesting there is a portable potty there and other stuff but no one is questioning their love or whether or not it will last, it just is about what the title is about. Lightheartedly funny if you will.

I like this wedding because it is held in the neighborhood around everyone they love, I like the trees, and the birds chirping. Plus the guest got to save money cause they didn't have to dress up in expensive clothes. If Everybody saves money everybody wins.

No reason for people to be critical. A good marriage isn't determined by how much money you can throw into it. Some of the most expensive weddings end in the quickest divorces. Love should always be celebrated and I wish this beautiful couple a lifetime of happiness. Screw the haters.

Just stumbled on this and I think it's beautiful. Outdoors in your community with friends and family plus you save money. I know a couple that spent 35000 dollars on their wedding only to get divorced 2 years later. For those wondering how they were able to close the street, you can get a permit for that. As long as its not a major street the city will allow you to close the block for special events.

I'm a Traditional Latin Mass Catholic. This wedding has more soul than weddings I've seen in giant Cathedrals with a dozen Priests and altar boys. It's about the effort more than anything.

I am assuming the couple here is Catholic based on how they make the Sign of the Cross. And the Priest is preceding over the vows hence this format is acknowledged by the Church the same goes for the Latin Mass format of Marraige ceremony. God bless the couple.

You can block a street for anything. You just have to go to the city hall in your community and give the date and time and as long as its not a main vain street or near a hospital it can be blocked. Streets are blocked all the time for block parties and stuff.

They found a creative way to have a wedding without breaking the bank. Who wants to go broke planning a wedding? Also, it was a great day to have an outdoor wedding. There was no rain and it didn't appear to be overly hot outside. I didn't care too much for the cellphone cameras in almost everyone's hands nor did I care for the underdressed people, but at least everyone was happy and enjoying themselves. I was going to say something negative about this wedding until I saw how happy the bride was. It made me think of how superficial we have become, everyone wants expensive name brands, but at the end of the day that does not make you happy. Congratulations to the groom and bride.
