Күн бұрынThis is the intro/logo to Japanese Studio Ghibli DVDs released by Walt Disney Studios Japan (Formerly Buena Vista Home Entertainment Japan).
Taken from the 2001 Japanese DVD release of "My Neighbor Totoro". (Japanese Studio Ghibli DVDs do not contain any Disney logos, only this one.)

It would be quite hilarious if this logo really does play at the beginning of Princess Mononoke DVD since that movie is rated PG-13.

It does, in reality. I just so happen to own the 2001 Japanese DVD of the film.

This cute Walk Cycle Mei logo with “Sanpo (Stroll aka The Walking Song)” from My Neighbor Totoro, my favorite Ghibli films of all time besides Castle in the Sky, Spirited Away, Kiki and Ponyo. I bet this logo was first appeared in 1997 japanese vhs release of My neighbor Totoro. BTW, found Setsuko (Grave of the Fireflies) variant on this Japanese vhs opening here! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aKufZbmI0MCRZ4E.html

I have a funny: If Niko Tatopoulos from the movie "Godzilla" (1998) had to see crate loads of Studio Ghibli films (on DVD, Blu-ray, VHS, etc.) instead of fish, he would eventually say "That's a lot of Ghibli." Get it? because "Ghibli ga Ippai" is translated in English as "A Lot of Ghibli".
