For china, it's probably a legacy as a lot of women work but the expectations in the families have remained as is. I understand 👍 It's the same in India as well even though the parameters for it are a little different.

Now there is new law for adultery before that it was seen as crime under law in India. Mutual consent is legal only if you get divorced from your earlier marriage and then your new marriage should consider as legal as in monogamy. Adultery is not crime but can be used as a base of divorce.

And I think the reason they are confusing between Indians and Pakistanis is because not many Indians travel to China so they've only encountered with the pakistanis who look similar to us, and in pakistan polygamy isn't an illegal act.

4:24 We too want such parents 🙏😂 14:34 Polygamy is almost non-existent in India. Legally it is allowed only for muslims but they too don't practice polygamy much in India. And I think even with the paper thin UCC law it will probably become illegal even for them and only some remote tribes will have the practice after that. And divorce rate is one of the lowest. I think as they interact mostly with pakistanis they think the same culture exists in India as well about polygamy. Another misconception about India is dowry. Yes it does exist for sure and the girl side gives dowry to the boy side in most of the communities in India. But it is very very vague some people expect it and some don't. Many especially in the middle class families do not practice it. And for a boy there is no restriction but just an advantage if he owns a house and car. Education levels and with some owning the agriculture fields is primarily preferred over house and car. Anyway, it was nice to know how their marriage practices are and about the marriage market.

Indians get mistaken as pakistanis especially in the country which does not have that good relations with India and people to people contact but has good relations with the western neighbour. We know that a lot of Pakistanis lives, study and work in china. As Indians get mistaken as pakistanis in the place, it becomes imperative to clarify it. No one has spoken for Pakistan.

I don‘t think these Indian vloggers are serious about getting marry in China, but only explore the different concepts and idealogy. The dating and matching in China are serious deal involved two families, and they don‘t take it lightly. One of the reason because its very competitive, ladies with financial assets, good education and good looks never want to settle for anyone less their social status. This is not a marriage market, if you understand the Chinese language, you will feel its a "Marriage War Zone".😂

Normally young men and ladies prefer find love by themselves, going to these parks are disgrace and lose face for them. So they won‘t show up in the park. But their family, mostly eager parents will write their desire requirements on a card and hang around, with the hope of finding possible suitors. Once their parents finds another parents and requirements are in line of expectations, they will arrange their children to meet. Requirement always started with young men, who should have a property worth not less than 300 000 USD, an imported car, good education, managerial job in coperate company or government official, height and looks, age not more than 35 years old. Etc. In fact, chances of finding true love here in very rare, only seeing urgent parents with broken hope.
