One thing in China I noticed that is very different, and tbf, very advanced than India is the social equality and mobility (also physically). For example, Laddies can do anything anytime anywhere legally without fearing any safety concern, harassment, etc. In any given place, touristic or not, while you think people are local, they actually are from all over China. People are friendly and nice, buying/selling stuff is honest, not bcz your skin or accent is different, so I'll add a zero on the price tag. In short, China is a harmonious society❤

Guangzhou is one of the four first-tier cities in China (Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen) and the capital of Guangdong Province. It is the most pyrotechnic capital. Most of the people here speak Cantonese rather than Mandarin. Guangdong Province is also the richest province in China , 2022 Guangdong province GDP is 1.9 trillion US dollars (India 3.08). Cantonese cuisine is very famous all over the world, and it is worth a try (but vegetarians may have less experience, maybe you can try quicksand buns ).

I just googled & it's called clams, that's not mushroom but bamboo shoots and that green colour veg like cucumber, it's called winter melons, just sizes are different, India has smaller version

Not agree. Snakes taste like frog and crocodile and eel, but with very firm meat. If somebody can accept frog or eel or fish, why would they hate snake.

If we consider the overall consumption, eels are more popular than frogs, and frogs are more popular than alligators. On one hand, they are relatively expensive, and on the other hand, 50% of people don't eat eels, 80% don't eat frogs, and 95% don't eat alligators (although some people might be willing to try). As for snakes, 80% of people would not consume them, possibly due to their intimidating nature. Humans have an inherent fear of snakes, and their population is relatively low. Additionally, there is minimal snake farming for consumption purposes.

That green vegetable is a kind of Bottle gourd (in Hindi it is called kaddu and in Assamese and Bengal it is called Lau). The off white type see food may be a kind of snail. The food looks like snakes are actually a kind of fish (not snakes) and is called Kuchia. It is available in Assam and North Bengal of India also.

@@GhoomtaInsaan No, not almost all. People living in coastal cities eat seafood more because it is cheaper. If it is a inland city, seafood is very expensive because of transportation costs and product preservation. Guangdong is a coastal province. It is true that almost everyone eats seafood, but there are still many inland provinces in China where they rarely eat seafood, such as Gansu and Xinjiang.
