An Indian can go to Tibet the most restricted region in China to visit, wander around the region doing video recording and speaking his own mother language without anyone trying to stop him, border him or police arrest him and accuse him of spying. I highly doubt a Chinese man can do the same in India in some Northeast states like Arunachal Pradesh or Sikkim wander around the doing video recording and speaking his own Chinese language.

Shangri-La & Lijiang is NOT in Xizang (Tibet). They're both in Yunnan province. Yunnan is very ethnically diverse, and Tibetans is one of the main ethnicity there besides Han, Zhuang & Hani.

@@joededen7952 NOPE, they're not all Tibetans. Diqing(or Deqen) prefecture is very multi-ethnic with no single ethnic group having a majority. Tibetans may have a plurality @33%, but NOT A MAJORITY.

@@joededen7952 Nope, that's NOT how it works. At the time of naming, prefectures with a significant (usually meaning plurality) ethnicity will be carry the ethnicity's name . Just check the ethnic demographics of "autonomous prefectures", there's endless amount of evidence to proof that this is the case.

Actually Tibet is divided into five Chinese provinces by CCP and only Lhasa region CCP claim as Tibet and they called it Tibet autonomous region. Almost one third of china’s territory is Tibet.

No wrong info brother ...yes British did came near Lhasa and its border and set a base camp near by ...but they withdrew their troops after few weeks....the soldiers couldn't bare the harsh climate and high altitude.... It must have been winter at the time ..... And they never got into Tibet first place...
