Here I am, sitting in a military research centre on a sunday night. The whole building is empty, it's almost only just me, sitting in my room and contemplating. In the distance, the horizon is lit by the lights of the capital city, its noises muted by the distance and yet so present. Another night will pass.

This sounds like someone wanting to feel something but unsure of what it is. Dread and wonder mixed in a beautiful blend of a reminiscent but vague past like staring out of a rainy window at 3am in the morning. It dulls happiness and sadness at the same time.

This theme goes well for major national disasters. Giant hurricanes. Black hole theme, tracking giant storms. Plague inc vibes. To zombie apocalypse. Feels alien. Giving off abandon city vibes. Instantly reminded me of 2020 lockdowns. Cities so empty. People afraid to be around others. So much fear, chaos going on. So much bad information being passed to spread such unnecessary fear to the general public.

This makes me think about what a glorious era we are living at. Internet, VR, Colonisation of Mars, artificial muscles, man-machine interface and all other things sci-fi artists envisioned are now coming into reality. And we are gonna see it all... This music perfectly reflects the future we are about to witness - the brave new world where the thing called human is that no more, but something greater.

Sadly this is the case. But at what cost? Animals are dying, resources are being used up faster than they can be replenished, our population is sky rocketing higher than ever before, global warming becomes more and more of an issue as time goes on. We humans in all of our arrogance and desire to go beyond what is established will be our undoing

@@iamabbadon9421 And this is the same line of thinking that will be our undoing. We constantly strive to surpass those before us without thinking about the cost that comes with it. All the while we approach yet another mass extinction. Animals as a whole are gradually dying out. Resources are being used faster than they can be replenished. All the while the rich get richer and the middle class get smaller. The sad truth is we are too clouded by the idea of individual success and going beyond that we fail to recognize the here and now. Ultimately I have to disagree with you on life being meaningless without going beyond. Life is a complicated concept. Boiling its meaning down to one idea is kinda foolish if you ask me.
