I found moving into a condo, and avoiding my neighbors' complaints, has taught me to play a lot softer. It's an extreme way to get better. When I lived in a big house, I could just rock out; I had all the touch of a blacksmith.

I was looking for ways to elevate my rock beats. Stumbled on Jacks video about ghost notes. Definitely adds a fresh twist to the rhythm.

Anyone else experimenting with ghost notes in their rock beats? Jacks video kind of opened up that door for me. Drums sound so much more dynamic.
