Repetitive...predictable...combat is fun for first few hours then not challenging...World is empty and plain. Whole game is lacking of a " soul"..challenge and mainly gameplay. What is best about this game? Visuals are stunning...that about it.

Its good DLCs are still releasing with great amount of content. 10 hrs is amazing. Horizon's Frozen Wilds was amazing and Witcher 3's Blood and Wine which had over 50 hrs of content is still unmatched. I really hope some companies keep releasing DLCs with new maps and stories.

And I, unlike most, actually take notice to the environment, capturing the essence, meaning, experience, rather than just running from point A to point B. 10 hours to critics = 15 hours to an enthusiast.

Is it the full game? Or just the add on? Basically I don't have the full game, but they're not offering any other version accept directors cut; so if I download this game will it allow my access to the full game or just the add on?

Yes! Absolutely pick it up! It is an absolutely beautiful and amazing game all around and it is the type that is so good, you just can't help but explore every inch of the islands!

I played it on my Ps4 pro.. I pre-ordered the game but was very disappointed. I'd give it a 6/10. The story is lackluster.. generic villages.. the ending is REALLY bad.. just overal I found it pretty boring as much as I wanted to like the game since I paid 60 euro's for it. In my opinion it got praised so much because of TLOU2 and because its a Sony exclusive.

You're in for a treat, even if on PS4. The game is gorgeous and it's as fun as it looks if not more fun. The missions are meaningful, gameplay is damn near perfect and the story was pretty good. Couple dry spots but thats almost every open world game. You'll definitely be busy as hell with this game. I beat it but I didnt 100 percent it so now I got an incentive to go back and do all that plus the expansion and then I'll play the free MP mode for the first time. This game is filled with content. Regardless of what these biased ass ppl in the comments or youtubers say. Ignore the fake outrage.

@@mtdubdachamp6917 people definitely like to trash on playstation and try to prop up xbox.. but it's because they have to actually prop it up.. there's nothing In the near future for them to get excited about.. halo isn't even a next gen exclusive.. all they talk about is stuff coming years down the road.. Sony definitely has had a much better next gen roll out. Consistent games and content we really want.. not promising stuff later or just buying companies to pad their lack of new content

So its £15 (as in uk) just for the iki island expansion , if u want to change it to a ps5 upgrade its an extra £20 in dollars i guess its abit more , so you need to pay twice i have a ps5 playing on the digital verison of the ps4 game i got when it released, i paid only for the expansion so far , not sure if i will upgrade it to ps5 game , hope that helps with the confusion 😁😁

It only shows the full price £69.99 and £59.99 versions for PS4 - It states in the details that you can upgrade from ps4 to ps5 for £24.99 but there's no listing. It's really bad from Sony, they've bungled this upgrade path system from the beginning. If anyone sees it pop up, let me know!

Graphics are not determined by the console. A game has to be made into dynamic 4k for it to be a dynamic 4k and the base GOT was not dynamic 4k

The reason for honor works is because of it’s completely different mechanics with a guard system that will get you hit if you don’t match it with the direction of attack. g.o.t has one guard button that blocks everything no matter what. This would result in both players holding that button like their life depends on it. Which to you would say “do heavys for stagger damage” which i say to you… it’s still flawed, the heavys are easily readable attacks which means easy dodge or parries (and the parry timing is very generous in this game, as well as much easier to perform compared to for honor, where instead of pressing one button you have to simultaneously match your guard to that direction and click heavy, and even then players can still feint their attack if it’s a heavy, leaving you open to a punish unless you option select, and even then some players can read option selects and punish that as well). This ultimately leads to a dueling system for g.o.t being who would be dumb enough to hit first and open themselves up to a counter attack. making the only way to win being off counters. And if every player knows that they would end up staring at each other. g.o.t has such a simple combat system that works really really well to make you feel like a badass samurai against readable and predictable enemies that rarely change up their attacks (because they really can’t) for honor has a complex and really smart mechanic system that allows for competitive gameplay because of the different guard directions, the reflex guards, the unblockables, attack recoveries, the feints, the undodgables, the openers, the melee attacks and stamina. All of this leads to a game of reading your opponent and adapting to how they play and baiting them into opening themselves up according to how much stamina they have and how much you have. It’s actual pretty genius and it’s exactly why fighting one skilled player can be so intense and fighting even just two skilled players can get extremely hard especially if they know how the revenge tag system works as well as how to time their attacks in order to leave you open for the other guy to hit you without building crazy revenge. But some players struggle against even 4 mindless heavy spammers. which goes to show how far skill can take you in for honor and how much it can keep you down if you don’t have any. There is no easy one button guard everything (unless you play someone with an all guard but even then most times it leaves you stationary and takes away stamina as well as leave you open to free guard breaks, unless you see it coming) For honor is all about reading and if you wait for your opponent to hit first and try to counter attack each time you will get punished for being predictable and readable. g.o.t gives you free counter attacks no matter what if you just dodge and attack. Sure you could hit once and let them dodge thinking they’ll counter you and then you would dodge it… but then they can still dodge your attack too, then you’ll end up dancing around each other like fools. come to think of it you can attack once to bait a dodge attack and dodge their counter attack, but even then they can still dodge it because g.o.t has barely to no attack recovery. As much as i’d love for g.o.t to have pvp, it just wouldn’t work with the current state of the mechanics, and changing them means you’ll be playing a whole different game. I know this and the devs know this which is why they’re releasing a rivals mode that isn’t true pvp at all, simply competing against who can pve the fastest. This shows that SP toyed with the idea of pvp and that’s the best they could come up with, especially since it’s been a year since launch. If you would like to tell me how one can pvp and make it actually skillful without changing the games mechanics, then maybe SP should hire you. But I promise anything you say can be rebutted as g.o.t fighting just won’t work for real 1v1’s.

It’s really a race timing who can kill their enemies the fastest. which shows that SP thought about pvp and realized it wouldn’t work, read my other comment to see how the game just can’t support two humans actually fighting.

I played both ghost of tsushima and Last of us 2. Ghost of tsushima should of been game of the year in my book hands down

@@tedmuffinnutts2232 I'll be 100% honest......I have been enjoying TLOU2 to an extent. It's a gorgeous game and some of the settings and environments really immerse you but the storyline and archaic game mechanics really make me have mixed feelings on the game. I want to like it and I do, to an extent, but there's a ton that I don't like in this game and I definitely can't call it the GOTY in my eyes. It's a well crafted game with some horrible design flaws and some questionable writing as far as the story goes. I just truly do not feel the way I did when I played the first TLOU. But I'm sticking with it til I beat it and cannot wait to start playing Ghost of Tsushima

@@crimsontide1980 last of us 2 game play and graphics for me was fantastic. The writing and story is what turned me away. Def finish the game since you already made it that far through the story already. Glad ghost of tsushima came out couple weeks after Last of us 2. You can play in English or Japanese subtitles, for me much prefer the English. Ghost of tsushima will put you in a better mood after what last of us 2 put you through as it did for me

@@tedmuffinnutts2232 I wrapped it up Tuesday night. You're right about the storyline basically ruining this game to a large degree. Maybe I just expected more since the 1st one did an incredible job with character development, pacing, injecting the game with feeling and emotion......I distinctly remember thinking about TLOU1 for weeks after I beat it......and anticipating playing through it again. With TLOU2 I felt it was more or less a grind....I had invested so much time in it that I HAD to beat it regardless of whether I was enjoying it or not. And no this is not a terrible game by any means.......May be the best looking PS4 game that I ever played. The sounds and environment were well done. The actual gameplay I don't feel was that good... ....7 years after the 1st game and the only improvement was a jump button which really didn't come into play too often. I guess in my eyes the first game set the bar incredibly high and it would have been impossible to meet all the hype and expectations. But this.....just didn't feel even close even with the gorgeous visuals and huge areas and set pieces. I don't say this often but I feel they probably should have stopped after the first game. Now I feel that a third game is imminent and not too sure that I'm looking forward to it. I'm glad I finished TLOU2 but I highly doubt I'll play through it again.
