From what we know so far the basic premise is that it's about the Mongol invasion of Tsushima island which was a thing that actually happened in history. You play as Jin Sakai a defeated samurai who typically fights honorably having to change his fighting style and essentially become a ninja known as the ghost using stealth/dirty tactics to fight against the overwhelming numbers of the invaders

It's so awesome to get a game set in ancient Japan that doesn't have supernatural elements. Don't get me wrong Nioh and Sekiro were great but i want something more grounded. Ghost of Tsushima looks to have such a beautiful world to explore, big props to the art and tech team at suckerpunch. Sound too, the music at the end was amazing

Have you played Shadow Tactics? The gameplay is very different from this, but the setting sounds right up your ally.

Honestly discovering that there weren't going to be supernatural elements to the game left me disappointed at first. But im such a die hard fan of this time period and have been waiting for a proper samurai game since Tenchu and Samurai Warriors for PS2. That i am more excited for this game than any other game coming out currently in the 2020 lineup. BETTER BE DLC THO

I haven't played any of the Sly Cooper games, but I've been a fan since the first Infamous. Really looking forward to this title and I'm curious to see if this does well enough to get a follow up. I hope they get a chance to cover some of the famous Japanese Civil Wars.

breeze & wind looks great in this game, and is almost shown in every shot , im thinking it's a important aspect of the game, at the last when they showed thtose environments all those shots have something being blown by wind alot , like birds , flowers , smoke in the distance , snow ,fog , ocean waves , ember flying & leaves ,fire . cant wait for this , just hoping its a vast open world with lots of content !

That's would be amazing such a great story teller he has some great movies in the time period especially for black white pictures at that time I think 7 samurai is probably the film people are most familiar with from him so this would be a good nood to that to have elements like that in this game it already looks like a visual masterpiece to me

I'm from the future. You guys looked so innocent right before the pandemic. I'm doing my first playthrough of Ghosts of Tsushima on PC. It's like Far Cry/Assassin's Creed, but w/ samurai/ninja action. Nice seeing this old trailer reaction.

Honestly they should have used this as the PS5 flagship game, Godfall really didn’t do it for me, maybe later Godfall trailers will be better

Didn’t they get routed by a storm when they tried to invade the island? Also pretty cool detail when you use more “ghost” like tactics the weather gets progressively worse on the island like your the one causing the storm
