Hopefully not what CD Projekt Red did with Cyberpunk 2077. Hopefully the people in charge continue to have respect for the art-form and don't rush what would be considered amazing games. CDPR was one of my favorites until last year.

I'm only 4 hours in and I'm already loving it...

I love the world in hzd but one thing that always shits in my experience are the facial animations, they are so off in the game.

GOT is far better then Hzd I played both and loved it . But storyline and action and overall gameplay GOT dominates

@@anthonyibrahim4745 hey, both the Wii u and the switch versions are solid, and have a large fov, of course if you play it on emulator on a high spec pc it's better, but on console it look decent and it never drops lower than 25 fps

@@filledb rdr2 looks more realistic by far but if we’re talking how “good” something looks, I think Horizon is the best for me so far. The lighting is second to none and the plants/trees are very beautiful, not to add the amazing sky and atmosphere the machine give the game

I would def say GoT looks a fair bit better in general but HZD is still super impressive nonetheless!

3 years is not that much time, games won't get absurdly more realistic next year compared to the ones from this year, nor they'll become on the next 2, 3 or 4

It's definitely a lot of strong showings for the Decima Engine (throw Death Stranding in there, too), and Sucker Punch made their best game to date with Ghost of Tsushima. The PS5 updates for all these games have also been fantastic.

From the fact that you're referring to Jin as "dude" says that you have not even played GoT. I have played both games on PS5 and PS4 as well, there is considerable difference of details in both games and GoT has much better details, awesome graphics with fabulous opinions. And I not even considering the GoT director's cut cause it even passes the level of detail if compared to PS4 version of GoT. But that is my opinion.

I still haven't played GoT, because I'm waiting for PS5, currently out of stock where I stay but Horizon Zero Dawn's open world was the most useless and dead open world I have ever played. Nothing to interact with apart from different machines. Repetitive question marks. The people don't even react we what you do in City, camps etc. I still remember AC origins and HZD was released in the same year and origins had a reactive environment. Even fire could catch to your arrow.

It's a post apocalyptic world with people who have no knowledge about anything other than hunting, gathering and some knowledge about construction, of course it's not as good as other games. Physics wise, I'll agree, it falls short in some areas. I have to ask you another question tho, have you never gone to any of the other places in the game? Like Cauldrons, bandit camps, machine convoys, tallneck sites, encampments/settlements, corrupted zones etc? Have you never collected any of the collectibles? Like banuk figures, metal flowers, datapoints, ancient vessels, vantage points either etc? There is a story behind every single datapoint in this game and there are hundreds of such things. There's so much more to horizon than just machine sites and settlements, which is what most people complain about. They keep saying how the world is dead but they haven't fully explored the world... I'm not shitting or hating on you, I'm just pissed at how people misunderstand this game and proceed to blindly hate at it....

Like if you saved their kind they'll keep talking about how an outlander saved their king and they'll praise you and stuff. In the sacred lands, (after getting to a point in the game) people will keep praising you, calling you the anointed, they'll also act shy to talk to you sometimes. In the beginning of the game, if you talk to a Nora, they'll babble about how you are an outcast and how you are disrespecting the Nora traditions and stuff...

Yeah, and bows just seem to hit harder in Ghost. For as much as Horizon got right, one thing they messed up was the audio. For a game who’s main weapon is the bow, those things sound like toothpicks when they fire or hit.

Most games with multiple biomes have that problem but in Horizon you won't notice if your not looking for it amd in real life some places weather conditions can turn on dime too so it's not a problem actually it's kinda cool because we get to experience more atmospheres I just wish there were thunderstorms and hail and maybe tornados and other stuff maybe the sequel will fix that

I disagree on a few things. Like climbing. I think Horizon did it better cause for one, the guy in Ghost (I haven't played the game yet) is wearing armor, but Aloy seems to be wearing at least lighter armor. Secondly there is a training montage early in Horizon where she's specifically shown to be training things such as climbing. But on the other hand, I think Ghost did ropes much better than Horizon cause on a lower level of scrutiny it seems to have a more realistic rope physics (the way the rope bends to his weight). Though I do concede the oddness of the rope when the guy jumps, hence the "lower level of scrutiny."

I personally loved ghost of tsushima’s enviroment and lighting

I personally thought ghosts was more realistic with the rain snow and rope

@@vathys00 I think GOT is also good when climbing because it's more realistic and also there are some rocks that fall and also when swinging it looks like a little splash from the tree branches the original tree is big but in the game it looks smaller

SP downgraded the game a lot. They will never reach the details they shown in 2018 E3 trailer. GoT prefers optimization. That's why it's the fastest AAA game ever. What lacks in details they compensate with amazing art direction.

Believe me... if gotsu will come to the pc anytime, it will be have the most used photomode in a game ever. I made in gotsu over 600 pics on the ps4 and horizon between 20-30. Gotsu has the best photomode till nowadays.

@@MrIroh-hw6qq i have played both of them, i got more invested in horizons story. GOT was fun too but i just wasn't as into it, just my opinion.

Problem with hzd is it was easy to cheese and get all the good gear early on so I didn't really feel very emersed and they made fast travelling to easy for the size of the map so much so that I barely saw much of the landscape and plus you never gained any benefit from travelling by horse where as ghost of tshushima actually felt bigger because you didn't need to fast travel as the distance was never too much so you could travel by horse and not get bored. And it rewarded you for doing so with outfit customisations, too many side quests and history of the island and the Mongol invasion, which made you feel more connected instead of split up by some frozen image loading screen that broke the immersion and took forever to load

@@allandm I know you probably know this but for anyone who doesn't the item custmizations where found around map a little off the road or on top of temples and quests were found anywhere just stick to the road and you find something for sure like a Mongol guard patrol with loot or save a hostage

@Marius I predicted the end of the game the first time Jin meets Shimura. That stuff was so telegraphed, you could see it lightyears away from another galaxy. Still, they executed the ending extremely well, but it couldn't have been more obvious. Meanwhile in Horizon, when you find out about Ted Faro in that tower and what Zero Dawn means...now that was creative.

@@SunlessSage Because no such function for the outfits. They are protection against hit, electric shock, fire, freeze, corruption, + stealth function. The reason is that it's not a survival game. :)

I wasn't nitpicking the game at all, just pointing out how she definitely isn't enjoying the snow there. :) I played through the game 4 times in total, started my fifth playthrough recently because of the Forbidden West announcement.

Horizon zero is a better game but the graphics are much clearer in the new ghost of tsushima on ps5

HZD definitely wins on the water parts. The interactions with parts of the environment, not so much, More grass and leaf movement on GoT. Also HZD def wins in the reaction to weather.

@@pierrearsenault7669 the gameplay of GoT is so much more fun than HZD for my taste. I personally think the most significant difference for Horizon is the facial animations. Many characters in Tsushima look stiff and funny at times whereas it's much more realistic in Horizon. With both games getting new PS5 updates though is where Tsushima really sets itself apart. It looks so incredible (not that Horizon doesnt) and the moment to moment gameplay, along with the insane amount of skills to learn, really has me prefer almost everything in Tsushima. Both games are incredible though and typically if you enjoy one you'll enjoy the other about as much. Glad I waited to really get into both games though because I'm playing them at their absolute best. God tier games.

@@CrackBaby3 I don't know about the gameplay. GoT is fun and has decent combat, but it's very cookie cutter. I have hundreds of hours in the Legends multiplayer and stances for example aren't really necessary as water stance is the superior stance even against enemies without shields. You can also cheese everything with some ridiculous builds. Horizon has more weapon variety and different approaches to offer. You can dismantle the enemies and then use their weapons against them. You can trap them, freeze them, burn them, make them explode etc. While I think that the story is also much more interesting in Horizon, GoT has one of the best endings I have ever seen and the soundtrack is a masterpiece. Another thing that Ghost does better than any other game are the wind reactions of the environment. Those fields of grass or flowers moving in the wind give it such a dynamic feeling.
