First of all, I love how you added that quote from the Avengers' book at the start of the video. Robbie isn't like any other Ghost Rider, and honestly, he doesn't WANT to be like the rest of them. Never had been, even from the start of his first solo series (even comments about how making a deal with the devil is insane to Johnny, lol) That's what makes him, him. Second, LOVE the gameplay you're showing off of him here. He might take some time for a turn-based newbie like me to use him properly, but I definitely want to try him on my team!

Okay, okay, I never really got attached to the "Car Ghost Rider", but that quote in the beginning kinda earned a bit of favor for him in my book. A Ghost Rider that's looking at being a demonic entity for what it really is; a nightmare for his life? I can get behind that. Also, it feels good to see him actually RIDE his cars hood. Since he's a Ghost RIDER, not a Ghost Driver.

Hopefully the character/story video on Robbie warms you up to him even more when it's posted. He's a solid character with a lot on his plate, really won me over in the comics when Johnny asks him if he ever made a deal with the devil, and Robbie basically responds with "why would I do a stupid thing like that??". Heh. The car definitely allows for some sick fight scenes and some extra abilities (pocket dimension in the trunk ftw) that I'm hoping we'll see in cutscenes as well as in attacks.

@@rebeckymo I like Robbie too, but how can he have the same powers as Johnny as Ghost Rider? Robbie is possessed by his dead Uncle and Johnny was possessed by the ancient demon Zarathos. I could never understand that.

@@captmorgan101472 Ketch was also possessed by a human spirit, noble kale. So technically robbie and ketch are the true GRs.

@@user-iu8ho4gf4m I did a little digging and I discovered that Robbie's uncle was not the source of his Ghost Rider powers. An exorcism was done on Robbie by Damien Hellstrom to get rid of Eli and they discovered that an identified Spirit of Vengeance is in Robbie. Eli was exorcised and the Spirit of Vengeance remained.

Hulk is the final character (he's revealed the Scarlet Witch showcase) so I'm guessing he'll be a top tier tank/bruiser

@@mezurashi_519 Hulk is in the game already and he is popular. Probably made sense from a time/cost perspective. Marvel has too many characters. They said that the roster was 25 originally but had to scale it down. If the game is successful maybe we will get more characters.

@@roncrudup2110 True, what you're saying does make sense but man it seems like we won't get too many of the darker mystic characters in the future too. I mean they added Storm of all people to the DLC pack. Don't get me wrong, I freaking love Storm, but not as a Midnight Sun among other characters

Hulk, Wolverine, Ironman, Captain America & Deadpool are only in this game because they're popular. Ironically, Thor who IS a magic character, isn't in this game

personally i think the last char is Hannibal King, been thinking it since the hunters hat in the yuletide video, the only object not pointing toward any of the chars in game. and it would be a really cool addition to the supernatural side of the team.

That Immolate ability looks like a great way to set up a nasty combo on a boss that likes to bring in extra trash mobs. Get another character to gather up all the trash and drop it right on top of the boss, then his the lowest health one with Immolate and set up a chain reaction of explosions right on top of the boss.

Magick and ghost rider. Magick uses portals to group them up Ghost Rider starts exploding bodies.🤣

@@Melking12 basic hits probably won't be enough to one shot them (if you're not over prepared) and Magicks portals probably don't do that much basic damage on its own

Now that I’ve seen 12 of these hero spotlights I think my priority team will be Hunter(light path) Wolverine and magik until the DLC drops and I can use Deadpool.

@@DLoofy-pq6yd There is a season pass and if you got the legendary edition of the game it will come free. Deadpool will be the first character but I don’t know what order the other three are coming but they are Morbius, storm and venom. As far as I know this season pass will drop sometime early next year.

I really hope that the 13th hero is someone on my list - Doctor Voodoo (although he' s probably least likely to be the 13th hero) - Elsa Bbloodstone (she' s badass and would be perfect for the Midnight Suns; I' m sure she'd do a lot of damage but I have a bit more complexity to her kit) - Moon Knight (PLEASE HE NEEDS TO BE IN THIS GAME HE'S AN ORIGINAL MIDNIGHT SON) - Hellstrom (Great fit for a Midnight Suns game and it would be a great oppotunity to introduce Hellstrom to the Marvel gaming world)

The developers put so much characterization into Ghostrider: Robbie Reyes’ combat style; I’m very intrigued with what has been shown and so excited to play him when the game releases! Tangential to my previous statement, but I hope Hulk becomes a playable character in this game and I’m almost certain he is one. So little has been revealed about his character besides his role as an antagonist in the game.

I think its hilarious how everyone else in the Marvel universe hasn't aged at all while Johnny Blaze went from being mid-30's to 80 over night. And I guess spider-man did grow up, but they keep resetting him so he doesn't count

This game has 8 difficulties. So I assume you can pick how hard you want your experience to be. From what I am seeing you probably will need multiple play throughs.

I dunno the difficulties but between being a marvel game (wanting more broad appeal) and 8 difficulty options, I'd be shocked if you can't find a more forgiving difficulty. I know it can be hard enough that in the live showcase they did the other week, the dev's had to try an encounter three times, so it can still bare some teeth if you want it to lol

With fireaxis, I don’t know how long they’ll support this game post launch but if its successful I could see us getting either another batch of four characters or a big WotC style expansion

a large amount of damage that comes with cost, this is resolved if you have a healing item or a character that heals

No offense to the dev playing that time, but he was really underperforming, with bad choices in characters deck (way too much heroic card when not enough skill to pump heorism to play them) and poor decisions making (focusing wrong targets, bad redraws, etc etc), i really think every character will be op when played correctly !

Why the heck does Danny get no love?? Like fr, I like Robbie, but we should have had Johnny or Danny. I hate it when the original characters get past over for the newbie. Keep Robbie, but add Johnny with a skin or something for Danny that Changes Dialogue.

Snap and Midnights Suns are two different type of games. I was hesitant because of the cards but the character deep dives sold me. The game isn’t trying to hide what it is. If you don’t like what you see then it isn’t for you.

If there is a friendly fire system will Captain Marvel benefit from it? Since she is known to absorb all kinds of energy to booster her power. And often tells her own team mates to attack her so that she can absorb everything in order to hit back at the enemy

Do any environments offer elevation variety?? Everything shown is flat...

Because of the high chance of hit, the scenario is flat,And there's also no reason to see elevation locations because height doesn't benefit at all here lol.

@@OC-bj8pu Oh and you must be asking yourself "why this doesn't benefit" and for being able to think of something called "painfully stupid" But I'll summarize for you to see if you can understand how here the enemies will always hit just like us we will always hit them not the need to see places to give altitude,In xcom games, hits from higher places would be more likely to hit or deal more damage depending From the character or enemy, but here not to such a thing,You not being able to understand this is what is really stupid.
