Robbie has one of, if not the best, Marvel NOW series’. The plot twist regarding the connection between his family and his “spirit of vengeance” still blows my mind. Plus the art work was always fun to look at, especially when Felipe Smith took over as both writer and artist towards the end of the series.

See That’s the thing that confuses me because isn’t the thing that makes the ghost rider so powerful is that the spirit of vengeance is a former angel that was turned into a demon not a family member that was a serial killer

@@ZephyrBW I guess that's what makes Robbie different from the other Ghost Riders. At the end of the day, a Ghost Rider Is a glorified demon from Hell, and I don't believe you have to be a former angel to be exclusively considered a SOV. Eli Morrow was a satanic serial killer who became a demon upon his death and possessed Robbie's car, so Robbie used this demon and it's powers for his own form revenge. Dude has been surrounded by *fucked up* gang activity his whole life, plus he has a disabled little brother that gets picked on, so Robbie is a pretty pissed and defensive dude. With all that said, You can argue Robbie's Ghost Rider is technically still considered a "Spirit of Vengeance".

@@Kenwxs Thats gotta be harder though to deal with because unlike the other riders who rage was tamed Robbies spirt was a demon always so good luck trying to tame it rather as a fallen angel has at least has some slimmer of their humanity to be reached. A serial killer i highly doubt robbie can ever calm it down

I'm usually not a fan of making copies of already established heroes (Lady Thor comes to mind), but I always liked Robbie Reyes and Miles Morales because while they are a new version of their titular heroes, they are completely different. It's also cool that Robbie doesn't replace Johnny Blaze, since there are multiple Spirits of Vengeance. I love his design too, especially the helmet-skull. I really hope we see him in the mcu again, and maybe see Johnny Blaze as well.

Its really odd that the Ghost Rider that is contracted with a random serial killer is damn near godlike in its powers but the ones contracted with actual spirits of vengeance or demons are much weaker.

TFW the bootleg is more high-quality than the real thing: Also, not the be the “um, actually” guy, but I think recent comics have clarified that Eli wasn’t actually the source of Robbie’s powers - he was just the catalyst to achieve them. But it still doesn’t seem like he’s a true Spirit of Vengeance either, which leaves a lot of questions about what he actually is…

Yes yes and yes Robbie Reyes is my favorite ghost rider ! This video on him puts the biggest smile on my face. I own the first issues of this ghost rider and they are dope. 4:50 love your way of relieving stress. What I just discovered is that Eli is not the source of Robbie’s ghost rider powers because he still retained his powers after Eli’s spirit was pulled to hell to serve Johnny blaze after he took over hell.

Sweet! I do like the latest Avengers story arc, with the multiversal masters of evil and all that. Very cool characters have been in it like the WW2 mystical unit, the planet that is entirely Man-Things rather than humans. And the masters of evil team are super badass too. Love it.

I was familiar with elements of Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider’s origin due to his appearance on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but the involvement of Mister Hyde was a surprise. 4:51 was unexpected, but entertaining.

Ghost Rider having a car is sort of a dream come true for me. Showing my age here,but there was this old movie called The Wraith about a kid who died in a car wreck caused by these horrible racers, and his ghost comes back with a car thats out of this world. He goes to them one by one knowing they'll race him, eventually he will leave them in the dust completely, and when they next see him, he is driving right into them. Always made me think of Ghost Rider.

Marvel better give us a Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider movie, considering they still haven't even given us or announced a Latino superhero movie in the MCU so far. Meanwhile, WB and DC are giving us Blue Beetle with Jaime Reyes next year and Sony's about to give us the first live action Latino-led Marvel movie with Bad Bunny as El Muerto. I cannot wait for an Mcu Ghost rider project , All the iterations of ghost rider are just so cool , there are so many great storylines to pull from for a live adaptation. He’s a great character to have alongside characters like punisher , blade , Doctor strange , im hoping they eventually give us a midnight sons movie but I’m getting ahead just give us solid r-rated blade and ghost rider movies first

Also, during the Avengers run he gets purged of Eli’s evil spirit, making the Spirit his own spirit of vengeance(so yes he is a spirit of vengeance). That is part of the reason he becomes the All-rider.

So you said that he is the 1st Ghost Rider to use a car as his Hell ride. I got to point out that in the Ghost Rider series where Johnny Blaze is hunting down Danny Ketch aka his brother and the Ghost Rider from the 90s. They showed several other versions of Ghost Riders aka Spirits of Vengeance and their Hell rides. There was a pair of Riders who were driving a Trans-am and a tractor trailer all "Smokey and the Bandit" style.

I think it is time that a (GHOSTRIDER) cartoon show series should get made now. If it does happen soon; I suggest have appearances of each different version of the GhostRider, to be shown in certain episodes, and in each of the seasons of it. From (Johnny Blaze) GhostRider, to (Carter Slade) GhostRider, and to (Robbie Reyes) GhostRider. In addition (Francis “Frank” Castle) Cosmic-GhostRider, to (Alejandra Jones) the female GhostRider, and more like them.
