It took me a while to notice that was an intentional part of the mask and not something from the video. (I've seen it before this video) It's a great part of the design of those masks that must have been a statement.

He said that the Papas didn't have anything to do with the writing, but it's clear at this point Tobias is the writer for 90% of the music. When he gets into the singer he is no longer Tobias Forge, so he isn't lying technically...

Papa is a character, therefore he didn't write the music. But Tobi(Tobias) plays papa, so Tobi wrote the music.

While I do get the feeling that Tobias is a very humble person, I agree with the other 2 people who replied to you. That answer was totally playing into the character and lore of it all.

He is playing the lore, dude. Tobias is not Papa. If he wasn't playing, Ghost would have ended or the identity of Ghost would've changed, but as you see, it didn't.

Nice try but that's a distinction without a difference my friend, one classic formal fallacy and therefore not a really great argument Logically, considering all three of them "characters", as you do: Papa=Special Ghoul (the character you see in this interview)=Tobias Forge. And boy, does He write ;-)

What that guy meant was, Tobias says Papa doesn't write songs because, in his mind, Papa is a separate, though fictional, entity from his true self. He creates the character by creating a personality within his own mind that's disconnected his true personality; it's a persona that he can "take on" at will.

I hadn't been to a rock concert in roughly 30 years and it was Ghost that brought me back. My sister has seen ALL the great rock acts and she thinks Ghost is the bomb. Yeah, I think this nameless ghoul did a great job at not letting the interviewer get too much info about the band out of him. Everyone keeps trying to destroy the mystery around ghost and figure out who's in the band. I think that the mysticism lends a certain power to the band and people should just stop caring about who's behind the masks and just enjoy the show. But, there's some people out there like Tommy Victory fucking it up with his instagram post and such. I hope on the next album they fuck with everybody and the next Papa is an actual replacement or stunt double that get's unmasked and not who we all expect it to be but they should keep all the people writing songs for Ghost as ghost writers cause that's really the best part, the music. Either way the vibe of the band is still fucking cool as fuck.

If Ghost was around in the 70s or 80s people would be limited to magazines- kind of like how it was with the whole KISS members. I like Tommy V but wish he would have kept his camera at bay- at least Papa (if it was him) was quick enough to give a goofy expression. I didn't interpret the Ghoul's eyes as threatening- they looked more like thinking of how to answer the questions as they were coming up. IDK.
