I was 9 yrs old when the original was released. I didn’t get any nostalgia from this trailer. You had some legends in the original that made the material work. If the original Ghostbusters had just a few regular Moe’s in it, it would’ve made 50 bucks. This trailer reminded me of that Stranger Things or some shit. Ghostbusters was a comedy for christ sakes. Even Gozer looks like shit in this trailer!

This is how you blend an original idea with a new generation of fans. Pays homage to what came before, while also introducing seemingly competent and relatable characters that could hold a new series of film if the desire from the fans is there. I can not wait to see what is in store for us come November.

@@zanelarson2451 I have watched a few interviews with Jason Reitman. He seems to be genuine on wanting to deliver a great story and that alone. I bet RT score will be the opposite to the 2016 movie, which was beloved by the critics and hated by the fan base it was “intended” for.

thank you…… I’m sold on this from this trailer. I wasn’t on the first but this one I am. I feel like a kid again wanting to watch the first and second movie. Practically in tears now. I know the ghost buster community has been waiting for this for so long. If you’d like it or hate it that’s your choice but I for one can’t wait to see this!

Oh hell yes!!! I was in on the first trailer but this one has me in hook, line and sinker. I knew E was their grandfather. I yelled at seeing Annie Potts... And hearing Danny Ackroyd's voice. It looks like they've kept the heart of the original concerning the love of family and the complications that comes with it, a little romance between Trevor and Phoebe's mom and Paul Rudd, friendship and the craziness concerning the supernatural. They've even brought back a couple of the old monsters, one in miniature form. But there's some freshness to it with the new cast, different perspectives, different monsters...Oh, yeah, this looks awesome!!!

This looks AWESOME!! I grew up on Ghostbusters, had Ecto-1, had the Firehouse, had all the toys. I had the Proton Pack, the whole 9, can't wait for this. In the late '80s, early 90s, anyone who lived in my house, when they woke up, came downstairs, they would see me watching Ghostbusters, Star Wars, or Indiana Jones lol.

If anything the creators of the 2016 movie were the sexists pandering to feminists by making an unrealistic, unconnected, all female cast along with making the main male character in the movie an utter dolt. It made no sense trying to connect it to the originals with Ernie Hudson but then making Bill Murray a completely different person. Seeing Ecto-1 speed around the corner in the last clip hyped me up for this film, along with all the references from the first movie.

A lot of fan service like Taxi Ghost, original advertising, Terror Dogs, Janine Melnitz, Pke meter, Stay-Puft, original ecto-1, original ghost-trap and proton pack. It’s Ray Stanz at the end of the trailer on Ray Occult books store 😍😍😍 I can’t wait November ! Perfect timing for Halloween 🎃

I can get behind this Egon started all of the Ghostbusting in the original movie... I like the idea that his awkward Granddaughter fills his shoes! This is how you do a torch passing movie heart and comedy!

this movie was written and directed by Harold Ramis's son Jason. supposedly they had talked about this for decades when Jason was growing up. the story idea was his but his dad really liked the idea. and helped with continuity shit, easter eggs etc.

My eyes moistened, my throat lumped... this is s sequel that respects where it came from. Ghostbusters was the first film I saw at the cinema and this trailer fills me with the same child-like glee that I felt at 5 years old. @ 1.59 - The siren of Ecto 1! - F**k me all the way backwards! Bustin' makes me feel good.

This looks AMAZING! Fresh, fun, while giving total homage and linking it properly with parts 1 and 2. THIS is how you do a sequel to include all generations and you do not pander to woke bullsh*t.

I was 11 years old when the first Ghostbusters came out. The nostalgic shakes and happy tears has consumed me. This film could be the perfect balance of old and new. When the original Ghostbusters appear in the movie, I will stand up and applaud. The world needs a smile and this should be a box office smash.
