That Ghostbusters game was fantastic. Better than I could've hoped. This cereal, I actually had it this past week. It gave me Kix berry vibes, just with marbits mixed. Not bad, but I'm not in a hurry to grab another box.

They probably couldn't recreate the exact cereal since Ralston Purina made the original kind, while this of course is made by General Mills. Would have been nice if they did, but hopefully Ecto Cooler makes another comeback with that being said though!

Speaking of Ghostbusters, in 1975 Filmation produced a live-action Saturday morning kids show called The Ghost Busters. In 1986, Filmation produced an animated spinoff based on the 1975 show in order to compete with The Real Ghostbusters.

I'll have to look for the cereal. It's going to be odd seeing the new movie without Harold Ramis, but I'll give it a shot.

To its credit, the new Ghostbusters cereal does look a little similar to the old one. The only difference is that the cereal shape are balls instead of the circle with the slash through it, the "No" symbol.

There is a cartoon coming soon called Ghostbusters: Ecto Force. It's about them in thr future and teams of different Kid Ghostbusters squads stopping ghosts. Think of Scooby Doo and the knockoffs as ghost hunters. Or if you're a CN fan, Kids Next Door as ghost hunters.

Before i begin this post isnt so much for the cereal man, its more to explain to some people why certain choices are made with kids cereals now adays. So let's walk through a few things, 30 years ago not to many companies cared a great deal on healthy kids cereal, only if they could get the kids to get their parents to buy it, so flavor could have changed a lot because they're trying to go healthier so even health minded parents will get it for their kids, as for shapes, when a cereal company has shapes in their cereal they come from molds or at least machines that can make the shapes, marshmallows are made like a play-doh fun factory like machine, where the cereal has molds that produce the desired shape the reason these aren't in the old shape is because those old molds are long gone, and they would need a lot of faith in the new movie to put up the money for new molds, 2016 left a really bad mark on Ghostbusters and now a lot rides on this new movie to make up for what that abomination did to the franchise. But already just from the trailers I can safely say it is way better then the 2016 movie.

Yeah Ghostbusters 2016 was horrible. A pointless remake that did NOTHING for the fans or the franchise. My fiancée loves it though cause Slimer has a girlfriend, but I thought that was a pretty stupid addition. I still haven’t found this cereal. It’s not at any of my Walmart’s. Kind of annoying actually.
