Is there no muffler for the movie to catch the sound of the vehicle?

They didn’t record any sound on set. It was added in post for these sequences.

Pretty sure they have a new engine in this car - the stunt car. The Millar Meteor is super loud tho - the ecto replica (ecto1_nj) has an original cadillac engine and it’s beefy!

so i noticed they are filming like other films for some reason @ 4.5k resolution instead of Higher Resolution like top gun Maverick filmed @ 6k resolution thus having not only a higher Res film for Future Release or streaming when they choose to have above 4k Resolution streaming for 8K Tvs or something but also having higher Resolution means mastering the film @4K can retain more Data and information

Yeah - not sure why they did this - unless it’s just for the stuff on location - not sure what res they used in the UK on set - but I assume they stuck to the same unless they had some sequences for a large format or imax - but didn’t see any imax cameras - only saw the res on this one camera which was VFX - they also shot in GoPros from various positions for reference

@ExperienceExplorers Well, either way, the movie is gonna be epic, it's gonna be amazing. What I am very curious is the other stuff. They filmed in December in Atlanta or somewhere where they did additional filming cast. Or something? I assume if that could be like end credits Stuff that could set up the next film. I would want to think they would do that. I really want to see the Ghostbusters franch eyes continue on. Because I think there's so many more stories they can create and do and especially if they were to bring to life, some of the real Ghostbusters, episodes like the sandman and Sam Hayne, and all that other stuff. All the other villains in the cartoons

Yeah - really excited for it - you could be right about Atlanta for end credits - it also looked like it could have been for a few ‘pick-ups’ they wanted for story

Most vfx houses render their effects in 2K anyway and are later all upscaled to 4K. The reason for 4.5 might be to have a little extra wiggle room to punch in shots when needed during editing.

How many Ecto 1 does Sony have? There's one for acrobatics, one with a shooter's seat and this one?

I know they had the one here in NYC (the stunt car which also had the gunner seat attachment) you can see the seat here on this car in my other video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gsCFapdmmJzKZZc.html) Then they had the one that was in the UK for filming there...and then the original Ecto from the 84 film which is in the lot in California at Ghost Corps. They may have more - I know they also use Fan replicas for promotional work - my buddy Nick has a replica 84 and that will be in NYC for the premiere!
