Stu is broken for the reason that if you pay attention to the background at the end of the movie, you can see how Stu's parents wrote to him that they would not be able to come to his birthday. He just killed people for fun, like after killing Maureen he just went on killing people bc he was thirsty for more, like they just made a big movie where they killed people, that's exaclry what Richie and Amber did after them. yeah there’s no justifying their actions but the point is most of them wouldn’t have done what they did if it weren’t for the influence of others/the broken state of the character. Like if the events surrounding Maureen wasn’t such a mess up dumpster fire then Billy, Stu, Nancy, and Roman wouldn’t have gone on to become killers

Sidney put it best when she called him out for killing people because he chose to do it, no other reason. Plus his “revenge” against Maureen was stupid anyway, manipulating a mentally ill teenager into murdering your biological mother because she rejected you when you’re literally a grown man with a family of your own and she’s moved on for 26 years.

@@rodjunior7518 ,If you watched the first part of Scream carefully, you'd understand why) The reason Stu is broken is because he has been abandoned by his parents in the kitchen there’s a white board from Stu’s parents that’s says that they missed his birthday and he’s often left alone and Billy knew Stu was alone and he promised Stu he’d never abandon him like his parents did. And it was also influenced by the fact that Casey dumped him - she traded Stu for Steve according to Randy and so Stu decided to end it with her and her boyfriend. To avenge her betrayal.

I would say Billy is all 3. He was obviously manipulated by Roman, was broken because his mother left, but you could tell he enjoyed doing what he did. (and billy and stu were already planning to continue which is why stu said "face it baby, these days you have to have a sequel". And i would say Mickey was just pure evil since he was already a serial killer

People will disagree with me, but i feel bad for Stu, he was influenced alot by Billy, which made him slightly evil plus he was broken as well, the line where he says "My parents are gonna be so mad at me" where he was crying, just shows he is broken, and in addition, his parents said he wouldn't make it to his birthday party if you pay close attention, So he was left alone, with no one, bedside the horrible influence from billy.
