Month 14 living up at Cerro Gordo! And a great month it was. I started rebuilding an old mining cabin, explored some of the abandoned mines, took my new drone on some amazing dirtbike rides, and found one VERY exciting discovery...
Thank you all so much for the support and for subscribing! There are lots of exciting updates in the coming months as the American Hotel finally gets under construction. If you aren't already, I hope you'll subscribe to see more from around Cerro Gordo!

Hey Brent I'm good with a trowel and I live nearby Barstow isn't that far,so I might be volunteering in June to help you finish all that cement I know what it's like , I've had to do a 24x24 slab with footings, 10 yards by myself when nobody showed up I'm an electrician but I do all types of construction , right now I'm doing fire alarm and it's pretty fun,, , but I was watching one of your videos and you have a bunch of that inch and a quarter water pipe , although it's a little bent up and looks bad it doesn't look like it's corroded or anything,, you can buy some inch and a quarter unions ,and with a pipe threader you could cut out any bad sections and put a gravity fed water line down to your town from above with a couple of well-placed water tanks you can catch rainwater, from there like you were planning to do nearby, I need to go back and watch the video again, but it seems like when you were up above , at the top there was a building, was that a pump house or a well ? anyway what I noticed was all those sections of pipe, it wouldn't be Out of reach financially to repair and reuse what you have there., Excuse me if I'm mistaken but water was being pumped from below to that building and then it fed down to Cerro Gordo ,, what I'm trying to say is you could tie a rope to 100 foot sections of that pipe and drag them up and over for whatever you needed to replace Most modern mountain municipal water systems use a 2 in pipe., Another suggestion I had is the water Source you have coming from the 900 ft level you could put a booster pump at 400 ft level and get a lot better water flow and extend the life of that poor water pump at the bottom,, it needs an intermittent timer so it can cool off and a storage tank above ground, the only thing you wouldn't want to do is exceed the flow of that underground spring and pump it dry who knows it might just be flowing enough to supply all your water needs, me personally if I was the owner of Cerro GordO I would put some timbers in that section and snipe the collapse that's threatening to cut off the pool from the pump and shore it up ,, the Spaniards probably hit that stream and didn't go any deeper because it would have flooded anything below that level, that mine scares me hell out of me, with all the collapses it's had., You probably seen the mine explorers video I believe it was the previous owner back then, those guys take a lot of chances not so much anymore but, they reppeled down there and climbed back up, Anyway I just put Instagram on my phone I'll try to check it out and send you a message.

The sheer determination you have to get into those mines tells me that you are responding to the presence of silver still there on a scale of great importance. Like this place called you there and is using you as a communicator of awareness. First of all utilizing your written skills, then vocal and visual in the production of your KZfaq Videos. So close to 1 million people have been attracted to this channel that actually hit that like button. You know, there are so many more that just never hit it. Silver is believed to be a mirror to the soul, helping us to see ourselves as others see us. Silver affects the mind and body as a conductor and communicator that aids in public speaking and eloquence. Silver is believed to draw negative energy out of the body and replace it with positive energy. @@loritanner4478 yeah just about all modern drones from DJI, Autel, Skydio, FIMI, and so many other brands have follow features built in. They all do it differently, and some drones have better obstacle avoidance than the drone Brent was using before. Autel Evo 2, Skydio 2, and Mavik 2 all have 360 degree obstacle avoidance unlike the DJI Mavik mini and Air S2.

my guy spent $1.4 million on Cerro Gordo, but it was worth it. nothing in this world we live in can change those views, and the way you represent that town and the way YOU express feelings and teach us about this place. So thankyou, for everything you have done for us over the past 14 months, it really has changed the perspective not only for me but for everyone about having a fun life, with adventures and rebuilding, to even finding treasures in the washes. we do appreciate you, from the bottom of our hearts 🙏❤️

Back when I was still in school my school had this weekend event where students went to a farm at the farm we all camped out, watched napoleon dynamite at outdoor theater at night, the farm did a big bbq and made everyone burgers, then we had a dance party, went hiking, etc. It was a weekend event this is just a suggestion but maybe you can do that with Cerro Gordo too. Hold a event during the weekend where people get together campout, make friends, go nature viewing together, etc. I had such a good time during that time and for sure it would create great memories of Cerro Gordo.
