Duke's head sculpt looks rough.

I bought this set because of the cobra Commander. If memory serves, this is literally the only time since the original 1982 to 1994 series that we’re getting that cobra Commander mold. So that alone sold me on this set. Don’t get me wrong, Duke is great too, but I would’ve just paid the $40 for the cobra Commander alone.

...late to the game: the quality is discussable but for me as a german guy i was glad to get a nice looking CC one for a valuable price. DUKE...: Hmmm, personally i never thought he has the coolest design (its the grin) but this one looks like he belongs on a wedding cake BUT all in all, I like the repros and got me 3 sets of the blue shirts, OH NOOO😅 Keep on havin' fun, folks!

These are GREAT. I ordered a second set after receiving the first...only because I need a set to open! These are perfect especially for someone like me that grew up on O-Ring figures but nowadays does not want to pay exorbitant prices on vintage figures. I contemplated that many times in the past, but to start from scratch buying old worn figures at top dollar was not such an appealing option. I waited for a LONG time for Hasbro to come around and decide to try the old recipe again and thought it would never happen. But, here we are and there they are. Excellent time to be a Joe collector. Now I can start the collection off new again. I just hope they stick with it and do not drop it like they have done with so many lines.

I was way on the fence about this set, but after seeing all of those tasty accessories, this became a must buy for me. I'm a card on the wall display guy, but now I want 2 sets so I can open one. I also thought they resculpted parts of the bodies, but it looks like mostly just repaints (which I prefer) & new head sculpts (I prefer the Duke to the OG but like the old CoCo head with the pointy mask better). Thanks for posting this video.

Awesome figure! BTW, there is a hole in the bottom of the jetpack which the flagpole can plug into to suspend Duke in a flight position!

Nice review. Haven’t had an o ring Joe for a long time. This set fixed that. Noticed those eyes on mine also. Think it supposed to be like a raised eyebrow maybe.

That was good review. I liked comparsion between the new O-Ring and the vintage one. The rifle is a XMLR-3A laser rifle and the braided cord and tassels on the flag is just that a braided cord with tassels. An interesting note with the braided cord and tassels, it's used with indoor flags. The flag that was included with Duke got me thinking, (and forgive me for going off topic,) being that we're going to get a Classified C.C. with a regular COBRA sigil, (like you I'm encouraging Hasbro to charge us more money,😂🤣😂) Hasbro should make that C.C. a deluxe set that comes with a soft goods COBRA Command flag and throne.

I got this set, and really like both figures. Unfortunately my Duke came with a scuffed up shoulder rivet and a cracked shoulder and melted plastic on the shoulder, so I'm going to have to get a replacement.

Hasbro: "hey look we made a new V.1 Cobra Commander from an all-new mold after losing the original so you can get it again!" The fans: "that's great, so how come you didn't do the same for Snake Eyes V.2 instead of giving us the 50th reissue of the first one?" Hasbro:

Great review. I'm glad i passed on this one as the Duke to me is just off overall. CC looks good but nothing beats the OG and i backed the Haslab Skystriker so I am pretty sure there will be a CC in that as well.

The cardboard was the right thickness on the cardbacks on these it was way too thin on the storm shadow and snake eyes cards

Duke's head looks like Sloth from the Goonies. WTF Hasbro?!?! Terrible QC on the last 2 O-ring releases between this & the Cobra Officer's legs not being able to bend to 90 degrees. Not impressed or pleased with how Hasbro cut corners on these figures, but then they want to charge premium prices. I wonder how many of these Dukes are like that? Anyone that has any input, please feel free to chime in...

one major problem I found with the new o-ring figures.. the back pegs dont work with vintage vehicles.. My duke wont fit with my vintage Skyhawk. I also had a Cobra trooper I tried using with my vintage Cobra Claw and it didnt fit. thats the thing that sucks about the new figures they dont work with the vintage stuff.

This must be a joke, I bought two Snake Eyes and Scarlett 20th anniversary packs not long ago for a little more than the cost of these two figures, I can still find original figures in very good condition for around 10-12 dollars, Hasbro has lost his mind.

The duke figure is terrible the colours are way off dark green with a drab yellow shirt should have kept to the original colour scheme

I love almost everything about the Duke figure except his lopsided face. That's a serious problem. I bought this set and my Duke's eyes are just as wonky as yours. What happened there? The face painting on my Storm Shadow is low quality as well. They are snatching defeat from the jaws of victory with these o-ring figures. 95% awesome but the faces are a pretty big down side.
