@@nightking5144 Come il 99,9999% degli "Italiani" americani, che in realtà sono per 1/6000 italiani per via di un loro bis-bis-bis-bisnonno che emigrò in America a 18 anni, scese dalla nave, scopò una locale, mettendola incinta, e poi morì due secondi dopo... però loro sono "Italians", eh, NON italo-americani... Giada però è nata in Italia, e ci ha vissuto fino ai 7 anni... so che non è molto, ma credevo che avesse mantenuto qualche collegamento con le sue origini italiane in più...

She grew up in Usa since the Age of 7 Years old so she speaks Italian with a clear American accent.

@@biancahotca3244 He means she lived there since the age of 7 so that's why she got an American accent, she was very young when she moved. Obviously you can also keep your italian accent or have a neutral one despite leaving early.

I think her native language is english. Italian is maybe native for her parents or grandparents.

Well, duh. She has been living in an English-speaking country pretty much all her life. Considering she probably doesn't speak Italian on a daily basis, it's noteworthy she even speaks it at all. I would gladly give her a pass over other American chefs who keep proclaiming they are Italian but don't speak a lick of the language.
