Great work as always! But out of curiosity how long will these materials last outside with English weather conditions?

Fortunately, it's been pretty dry and toasty here in the UK over the last few weeks. These were only intended to go outside for about a week, and with these being varnished properly, perhaps a month or 2 if the weather isn't massively blustery. For anything required for longer period, we would have gone down a glass fibre and resin route :)

Hi Guys. Interesting use of "water based plaster". I want to do similar by making large pumpkins out of simple foam (I have a lot of large blocks), but I've always struggled to find a medium to allow me to smooth and sand it, then paint it. Can I ask what plaster you used? And would painting it, make it waterproof - depending on type of paint I guess? I want to have them outside for a couple of weeks for halloween, so just wondering if your method will help with this? Thanks.

I use easy fill! Gives about 20 minutes work time & super easy to sand back 😁

@@youandi9540 I've had a look and see you can buy Easy Fill 20, 45, 60 etc. I'm assuming the numbers relate to the working time? But will the end result be waterproof, whether painted or not?
