I've just got a TCR Advanced Pro 2 with RideSense already installed but no magnet for cadence or speed. My Garmin 510 picks up speed via GPS pretty accurately so I'm just after the cadence. Will it just work with cadence?

It would be good if you clearly showed which way the battery is placed. Positive up or down. Very important

is it ok if you are not putting on device to leave holes uncovered? i am worried about water getting in frame.

Sandra Dunne you shouldn't leave the hole open. There is a rubber plug to fill the hole if you don't have the sensor fitted.

Which model of Your Garmin? Do you know which computers these sensors will work with exactly?

Hi, it should work with any ant + enabled computer.

Painful to watch the install through the spokes. Just remove the rear wheel FFS

I'm surprised you're not getting the 2016 version Ridesense. Its Ant+ and Bluetooth compatible and the decals are in stealth black.

did you notice that the wheel magnet sits very close to the sensor on the frame?

+Chris Hudson it is very close. I had to take my magnet apart and stick it on with electrical tape.

Daniel Westow good to know. i just installed mine today and it was extremely close. I have the newer version too. May just take the wheel magnet off and rely on the garmin for speed
