This was on of our last fishing trips of 2020 and it was epic! We started the day with a big hammerhead and then we missed 3 swordfish in a row. Fortunately things changed in our favor before lunch time and we managed to catch 4 swordfish after a rough start. We tagged and released a couple of them and kept a couple for dinner, including one monster at the end of the day! It took 3 hours to land the best but was well worth it.

HEY! That's my good buddy Danny! He's a pickle ball champ. He broke a leg doing it. I'm glad he didn't break a leg on cao Stan's boat lol. I have a slice of that slightly pumpkin on the smoke right now! How awesome is that! Stan, you rock. My old bud Mike Todd from bud and faries would be very impressed. He had trouble getting to the dock on time but one of the best mates ever. RIP. MIKE

Watch many a videos of you catching fish one thing I’ve noticed is even on the big ones and trophy size fish you always keep your cool and wits about you. It’s not that you aren’t excited or pumped but you manage to be calm and relaxed which I feel really helps clients enjoy the experience, nice work!

I get uneasy watching the wave effect on the camera. Makes me grateful to be on stable ground. It's not the motion so much as it's the general idea of a tiny boat on a giant amount of sea that does it.

Do you have any superstitions or rituals you follow for good luck? Back in my charter captain days, one of our captains would put on all his foulies and dance in the parking lot (especially in sunny weather) as a spell for good weather. Yes, it looked silly, but it almost always worked

Best way to end 2020?? Why with a gigantic Pumpkin Swordfish!! My word, what a day, and a great video to document it! Fantastic seeing that big Hammerhead Shark pulled up from 1600+ft. I love how they hunt and believe it or not when I was a 16 year old kid (I'm 53 now) we were scuba diving in the Sea of Cortez out from a place called Guaymas, Mexico when a school of Hammerheads swam over our heads, we figured it was a school of 40-50 sharks, it remains one of the top moments of my life watching them while in their element.
