GIANT YELLOWTAIL and more..... || Cape Town Fishing

Күн бұрынIt was an early start to the morning and we were heading out in pursuit of Yellowtail. The Snoek were still in the bay but we decided to target the yellowtail instead. We hooked up with two nice sized Katonkel and a Giant Yellowtail. This was some epic fishing off Cape Point, South Africa. Cape Town fishing.

Wonderful vid! Just subbed. Mabye one day you could got to Kleinmond, Once I caught 8 klipvis in one session, Not bad for me. However there are MANY other fish.

Hand lines certainly get fish to the boat quicker but I much prefer the fight on rod and reel....😂

Lekker video Alfie. Just a question...why doesn't the boat stop when someone is pulling in the fish?

I'm glad you enjoyed it...😀 It's a little trick from the commercial guys to maximize their catches. Because most of these fish move in shoals the skipper will turn the boat that it moves in a gradual circle and keep it moving so that there is still movement on the other lures/bungies....this way you can maximize your catches from the shoal.
