To explain the "Holograms," they are done using something called a holonet or something. I'm not exactly sure exactly how it works, but it's basically a screen that they can put images on to give the appearance of them being real. There is one in front of the performers and one behind, so it gives the appearance that they are both standing among their character counterparts while also allowing them to make the characters appear larger, in multiple places, and teleport the performers all over.

I'm predicting that they'll put out a full album eventually like KDA just did 2 years after the first performance. I've liked the KDA songs for the groove but holy crap this track is the best thing Riot's ever done in media

It took Riot a whole year to plan this and it was one of the best opening ceremonies so far if not the best. Also this opening ceremony had three songs. Awaken, GIANTS, then Phoenix. True damage didn’t pop off as hard as KDA did so they decided not to do any more songs. Soyeon (the blonde) she pops off in “Lion” by G-IDLE.

You'll probably like G idle's Uh-Oh. I also recommend watching Season 3 of Unpretty Rapstar. Soyeon did really well in the show despite being one of the youngest competitors. Those images are mainly due to animation by the way.
