Bryce Harper can destroy you when you least expect it. Giants were close on tying in the 9th, but the Phillies manage to win.

agreed.. the first one I let slide, but after the second miss I am concerned. They weren't routine super easy pop ups but at a Major League level he has to make those plays

Rojas, jogging after very catchable balls....should've both been errors......run to the spot, then catch it....he jogs to the spot, and wants to make a simpler play look more difficult than it actually is.....and yesterday wasn't the first time......seems to want to turn a more routine play in to a highlight reel...he's not half as good as the "experts" in the booth claim, and his hitting is as weak as circus lemonade....his Mendoza line BA. and his soon to be exposed defense is a one way ticket bak to the minors/palookaville....let's hope!

Rojas is a terrible center fielder. He misjudges balls every night. He literally jumped over a ball. He is more concerned about making the highlight reel.

I was at the game. The fact he got anywhere near each ball was surprising. Those hits were near impossible to catch.

@@LMLR187 Johan Rojas’ athleticism isn’t in question! He has an amazing arm & speed but the Phillies are in a “win-now” season. How long do we have to wait and see how good he’s supposedly going to be? Awful during this past postseason, couldn’t hit in the offseason DR league, couldn’t hit in Spring Training & now over a month into the season he hit off of bad teams but other than that he hasn’t lived up to what the Phillies are trying to sell us. I think it’s time to move on & hopefully he can go to a team that doesn’t have the same pressure & expectations as the Phillies do.

Jung Hoo Lee 131AB 2HR 7RBI .243 2SB 3CS They sure made a lot of noise about the wannabe Ichiro, but it was all hype. A good defender but unfortunately his weak/slap hitting style does not translate to impact in the MLB. Big star over in Korea; a well below average player in the Major Leagues. Send him back, Oops! the Giants are stuck with him for 6yrs at $19m per

Wasn’t Harper 2-4? Not 1-4? The graphic at the end says otherwise but he had the HR and the other hit that the outfielder narrowly missed. I’m a little new to baseball, am I wrong?

I think the hit where the outfielder misplays the ball was ruled an error therefore it means that Harper doesn't get credit for it as he reached because of the left fielder's error.
