Yeah, just need a few years experience in rock climbing. Plus the reason there are so many fish where he fishes is that no one else can get there. I live on this part of the coast and there are already too many tourists!

Sergeant Baker are one of my favourite fish, because whenever I have used them for bait I have caught Dhufish and Snapper. I think it is due to their red skin and pearly white flesh. I leave a long strip leading off the hook, for the fish to suck on. It was good to see your launches go well. Those rocks looked hellishly slppery.

I'm a bit of a softy. The last time that I hooked and lost a trout in the Eastern Sierra I cried just a bit. And a while ago I suggested that you could free dive and collect all of that snagged rigging until you reminded me about the existence of sharks. New Question... Do you ever hook and pull out a fish with one or more old hooks left in their mouths? I'm still hooked on the channel. Just wondering.

Old hooks don't normally stay in fish mouths very long. That's why it's super uncommon to find them.

What an awesome wilderness fishing adventure Gido! I see that you like to "Explore" the last vestiges of remote wilderness in your, part of the,"world". You do have lots of awesome varieties of fish there in the UK ocean waters. Intetesring that you have, Groupers, which normally in the ,Americas and Asia are a sub-tropical fish. Do you catch Lobsters or Crabs to eat? Do you cook, eat the filed fish skin or use it as bait/ Luer? The fish heads make for good Crab/ Lobster bait. Wishing you, safe adventures and journeys.

Our groomers are actually a wrasse. Don’t blame me I didn’t name them 😂. We also have lobster and crabs yes. And we have real Grouper further north in Western Australia and other states of Australia

Did you pull your pedal drive when you were being towed? I left my kicker motor down for about 15 minutes on my last trip out. I noticed that after I raised it I gained about 15% fuel mileage 🤣

Has nobody pointed out that there are no official Gidosfishingadventures socks in the shop? Come on man. If your gonna be socking it on the rocks go all out. Make your own. I used reefwalker booties for years in Hawaii. Few heavy bottom socks with indi toes. Start testing out some ideas for your own. I don't know. Make it look like you just wrapped rope around your toes, heel and ankle. Hum. The slight space between each rope might grab the rocks a bit better. Love the Channel! Had to stop watching it late at night. Kept making me hungry....
