It’s just so terribly sad that “decent” ppl are labeled bcz of the bad apples ( in every race and of every skin color ). Nothing wrong with tourists either - as long as they RESPECT ppl’s culture, race, skin color and privacy when they visit. 2/21/2024. Have a Blessed Day. Эти места может сильно подтапливать периодически (т.к. до Атлантического океана рукой подать), так что не всё так идеально, как кажется. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oeCWm6Zn1JOuhH0.htmlsi=c3fKoDbkXQdwfA2T Да и климат не такой мягкий, как, например, в тёплых тропических странах, в Нидерландах иногда и снег с небольшими морозами бывает... А в остальном да, место вполне неплохое и довольно уютное.

⁠@@akaserhions7918 Your assumptions are wrong: It is more that 100 years ago that the sea threatened that region for the last time. Since, many dikes have been built. The first one in line is the Afsluitdijk. Rivers flood into designated areas to avoid, no flooding again from rivers either. You should know that the provinces Friesland, Noord Holland, Zuid Holland and Zeeland would flood it dykes and dams would burst. Dykes and other water management systems are extremely well maintained. We can not live here without them.

We went here last year, this general area of Holland is beautiful but Giethoorn is amazing. Even with the over abundance of terrible boat driving tourists, this place is definitely magical. We made the loop twice, had lunch, saw tons of geese and a beautiful "Guard dog" protecting his domain.

Здесь просто есть законы, контролирующие соблюдение порядка...Обязательной является стрижка травы возле своего дома, уборка мусора...за несоблюдение - штраф...А также большие налоги берутся с зарплаты людей, которые идут в том числе на восстановление всех этих мостиков , обкашивание травы по берегам речки...У нас же нет этого, оттого и беспорядок.

I dont know about this village, but in the Netherlands in general, buying a house is much easier/cheaper than renting a house....There is a long waiting list if someone wants to rent an apartment or a house. This is a sad reality.

@@FazelAdventures It is easy to buy a house in the Netherlands, but Dutch houses are not cheap. Even an apartment in filthy neighbourhood of a large city is 200.000 euro. The houses you see in this video can be bought, if you want to spend 2 million euro. We have a serious problem with housing in the Netherlands due to immigration. We used to have 15 million people in the Netherlands in 1995 and now we have 18mio. I am renting. Took me 10 years, waiting in line, to get a house I am pleased with. Most people in the Netherlands do not live in houses like you see in this video.

I live about 2 hours drive away from this village. I made a reservation of a hotel and spent 3 days, it was full of peace. Living life close to the nature is just a different experience.

Wir waren in diesem Jahr dort, bezaubernd. Vor allem sehr gepflegt und beinah sureal. Die MEnschen zudem sehr freundlich. Wir standen mit unserem WoMo an der Marina, sehr zu empfehlen. LG aus Potsdam
