‘Gift from GOD!’ Phil Foden reacts to Jude Bellingham | Interview
Phil Foden says @mancity are determined to make history and become the first team to win the Premier League four years in a row.
Pep Guardiola’s City team crashed out of the Champions League on penalties to Real Madrid on Wednesday, ending their dream of winning a consecutive treble.
But City face Chelsea in an FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on Saturday and are top of the Premier League with six games remaining.
Foden, 23, was speaking to MailSport Football Editor and host of the It’s All Kicking Off Podcast, Ian Ladyman. Foden has been at City since he was six-years-old and has become the poster boy of Guardiola’s team, the former ball boy who made it to the top.

Lots of respect to Foden and love the comments he said about Bellingham. Game recognizes game. Foden is a hell of a player and the two young talents of him and Jude is great for England.

As an avid Arsenal fan, I have the most respect for Phil more than any other Man City player. The only one that is home grown and came up through the academy. He is easily one of the best players in the world! The way he has come on is absolutely phenomenal, and I truly cannot wait to see how he continues to progress! Absolute excellent player!

Just love this man, genius footballer, mature, modest and has a lovely family. A perfect role model for all young players. I thought the interview was a bit too long, his body language towards the end ( his hand on his face and around his mouth) told me “I’ve answered enough questions now”…… he must really get sick of it at times 🥱
