Once I saw the Dybbuk box, I immediate thought "Get rid of it NOW." That is just terrifying. I'm relieved she's alright. But out of all the strange gifts... NEVER give someone something as evil as that.

I helped my ex-wife start her own business which was refinishing & restoring antique wooden furniture. 90% or more of her customers were antique dealers and almost all of them knew that spirits attach themselves to certain items that their owners we're fond of in life. So I really don't understand why this guy would give his mother that thing for a birthday gift ? Even if he personally never experienced anything paranormal in his shop or in the antique business I am sure he had heard many stories about haunted items. Again , this man is a real jerk ! Thank the Lord his mom pulled through. I saw this whole story , it's horrific and scary as they come !

Many many years ago in my 20s I saw the original box selling on eBay. I was short on cash that time hence I didn't manage to get it. Weeks later I got my salary and I went to eBay but it was sold. Then many years later I heard the story about this debbok box.

So sad.. Her husband knew she hated plaid and still would buy it for her. Such a sad story, it gave her a stroke.

I think she was more upset about getting plaid shirts every birthday than being haunted by a cursed object 😂

The tears as she was telling how she was desperate to tell her son so that she could save his life touched me because as a mother I can understand that. his mother broke my heart she reminded me of my grandmother who had a stroke and she never came back like this lady did she was always half conscious it seemed but i'll never forget something she said she was talking about how aliens came and picked me and her up randomly at some gas station and my dad was busy deep in his phone not paying attention then I heard her start saying something and she closed her eye so hard she was thinking with all she had and tears rolling down her eyes then she said something i'll never forget ''I hate this I hate this so much im so broken I can't even tell the difference between reality and my dreams'' and it was at that moment I knew she was a prisoner trapped in her body always wanting to say something but she had such a hard time staying on topic it must have been torture to her before her stroke she did the taxes for the seniors in town and helped out where she could she gave everything she had to help she played the piano and was a master at calligraphy she also made art from broken glass that was on the beach and she loved doing crafts with us her grandchildren and now she was stuck in this hospital bed unable to clearly think unable to help and be the woman she once was it was a very painful experience seeing someone trapped in their body for 7 years sadly she drowned in her own lungs from an infection that filled them with fluid to the point she couldn't breath and the machines couldn't keep up i'll never forget when I looked her in the eyes and said I love you so much I wish I could carry you to a magical place that would heal you I wish I could do anything to help and even in a coma her face changed she heard what I said and she looked so confused it was hard to believe she was in a coma she passed about a week after that happened and anytime I see an elderly lady who survived a stroke it just breaks my heart to think of what they and their families have to endure on a daily basis.

Wow, the birthday is relevant in my life as well 10/28. The birthday of my former voodoo neighbor's twins! I began having prophetic dreams in 2001. This box came to me in my dream down to the Hebrew writing and weird occurrences.

Before I get out of my car to go into an antique store I pray a prayer of protection over me & those with me. Demons are attached to objects sometimes or sent into them, if owned by occultists. Christians have no fear of these things. We have been given All Power & Authority over all the demons in Jesus name. Luke 10:19-20 Use that Authority! God said 'Fear not and Be not afraid' many times in the Old and New Testaments. It's a sin to fear anything or any one, other than God.
