@@entropy417 In the original novels, it is made clear that Lina casts an incomplete version of the Giga Slave in this scene, as she doesn't yet know the true nature of the Lord of Nightmares. Phibrizzo states plainly that the Sword of Light would have broken under the full power of the spell. As for the weapons of light, they are the five fragments/underlings of Dark Star, the Demon Lord from a parallel world sho shows up in _Slayers Try._

Goku is friends with someone on the level of LoN-sama, though. The Omniking is the version of DB of LoN-sama, after all. But yes, of course Goku can't top that,. LoN is the Creator of All in Slayers, and she did it without meaning it, for her it was just a nightmare (and thus, her title). Goku, on the other hand, is "just" a mortal on (maybe) his way to godhood. You could have said "Sux it down Beerus" and you would have been right. In fact, you can use any name that isn't an omnipotent being there, and you'll be right.

It is imcomplete and she lost control of it. This version of the spell presumes that the Lord of Nightmare is an entity residing admist the Sea of Chaos, when actually they are the same thing. The complete version, if the caster loses control of it, has a different effect.

the giga slave is a 50/50 gamble your mind has to be 100% focused or it gos wrong

@@oldchan4092 There's also the fact that Lord of Nightmare's power is also her will, and she can be quite fickle. She may help you once, only to obliverate you and your home universe the next time because you are being annoying.

@@gweds Perhaps she just wasn't pleased by how Phibrizzo was essentially trying to use her through Lina to do his bidding, so the Lord of Nightmares punished his arrogance. As though her actions were to proclaim to the Hellmaster, "I decide whether or not this world will be destroyed by my power. Not you."
