So I just about managed to get my hands on this palette in time to bring this makeup testing video to you guys. Is it worth it? Hit or miss?? Hack or wack?! I've done lots of testing videos before and I will be honest with this one as I always am!

Nice video but I feel like it was a little biased (I think she's worked closely w maybelline before) and too positive. Let's be honest, the pallet only works for lighter skin tones and there is nothing in Gigi's collab for darker skin tones. Wish u mentioned that.. 💕

i really like maybelline as a brand and use many of their products but lets be real: all of these products in the palette maybelline already has for a cheaper price. you're only paying that much money because it says gigi hadid on it...

Roxxsaurus the thing is, even if you say “it’s not sponsored” you have previously worked with the company so if you said you don’t like it it would be a conflict of interest no? Like, if I worked on a campaign with a company there is no way I would then go forward and film a bad review about them. I think the video would have seemed more honest if you had discussed the pros and cons of the palette/explained how it worked for your skin tone but may not work for others/discussed the price. The whole video was all positives and maybe that’s where people are not appreciating your opinion?

The palette looks awful and the make-up on your face looked very patchy. This may not have been a sponsored video but you work with Maybelline for a start and as if you're going to say the palette was awful and then meet Gigi a few days later acting all fake and nice. You were invited to her launch by a company you work with, like you were going to be honest and say the palette is crap!

I love your channel but I feel like this video was bias and untruthful,let's be real, the palette doesn't look or perform amazing, and it only caters for lighter skin, nothing in the Gigi hadid collection for darker skinned people whatsoever

Sophie Harding all the colours are actually neutral and they go with both skin tones as you see there are 2 concealers for light and dark skin tone plus the shadows are so pigmented they will definitely show on any crease and you have the option to tone it down. I think its actually pretty and may come in handy for those who travel alot

Sophie Harding I agree I feel like roxi was making everything seem amazing but personally I don’t think the concealer done a great job and I don’t think it’s worth £30. Quite an untruthful review and Roxi was quite annoying in this vid 😕

Arwa it might work for someone with a brown/Indian skin tone at a push but definitely not on skin tones darker... no matter how 'neutral' those shades are x

I really don't like the look of this palette and think it is way overpriced for the amount of product. I really hate using those kind of lip products. The packaging didn't need to be so big to hold the amount of product it holds which is kind of ridiculous considering it's meant for travel. Also that mascara will likely dry up so quickly, it's not something you could use for one holiday and then keep for the next unless you're travelling several times a month. The contour brush looks hopeless too. A very 'meh' palette and the fact it sold out in 90 minutes shows how sucked in people can get to overhyped over marketed products without thinking about it constructively IMO.

First thing I notice is the color range I’m black and nun of these would go with my skin tone the councilor looks way to light and the blush is way to light it’s a pretty palette I just wish she made one for girls like me

I don't think it's very inclusive for everyone especially darker skin tones. The packaging is pretty but the price is too high. The brushes are crap and the pans for the cheek products are too small.

It's a nice looking palette and I love the fact that it's travel-friendly, but I feel like the concealer could have a lot more coverage. Also, the bronzer looks pretty orange to me. The shadows and highlighter seem awesome though!
