Keeping it real.....Iverson was the dude that could pull up at a summer league in the hood....ball out and still be hanging around in the hood after the game was over. Might've shot some dice , smoked and talk some hood sh3t. People related to that "real" element because they saw themselves in him and he represented somebody that really made it from the hood. @@randomando4470 The mentality of some of the young people changed. Remember how Kobe couldn’t stand Dwight Howard’s mentality or even Shaq’s. He viewed them as soft. Kobe influenced Book’s 70. I think Luka is another person influenced by Kobe. That meanness. And even Lebron, does he win another chip without Kobe’s influence? In the culture, people shoot into waste baskets saying the dude’s name. Then there’s China. There’s also the shoes-every player’s favorite shoe. Then there’s Rucker Park. Crazy that I didn’t even like Kobe like that but here I am campaigning for him 😅

@@astheskylarksings I agree with everything you're saying, I was definitely a fan growing up. I definitely consider him Top 5 but it's tough when you have two people that ushered in two new styles of basketball. The kids went from chucking up bricks saying "KOBE" to chucking up 40 footers thinking they're Steph 😂. In my list, I'd go Steph, MJ, AI, Magic (because him and Bird saved the NBA), then probably Kobe. But there are no wrong answers honestly. All behemoths.
