Gilgamesh and Thena are the newest cards this season of Marvel Snap and they are so much fun to play! I initially thought Gilgamesh would be insane but after playing him and Thena for an hour, Thena actually seems stronger than him. Gilgamesh CAN grow pretty good but he does require a lot of set up. He would probably perform better in a Patriot/Kazoo/Blue Marvel deck. Thena just seems like a super fun card and I can see her doing well in many decks - maybe Silky Smoove.
Watch this video to find out whether you should buy the season pass and whether you should open Thena from the spotlight caches. I really enjoyed playing this deck, I think Gilgamesh and Thena are perfect together in this deck and that's really cool considering the Eternals lore.

Thena is actually cracked. It's not difficult to fulfil her requirement, TBH. I have been building decks in this way, recently anyway. No 6 drops and the curve being designed in order to be able to play a 1 drop, as well as a another drop, on most turns. My first game I had a 14 Thena, and 15 Gilgamesh.

I've been enjoying Rocket/Hawkeye a lot recently, in full bounce decks. Good call to have him in this deck, too. I have to start playing him in other archetypes, too.

Cool deck. I went with something a little similar, but different at the same time :D ha ha. I had Nico, Ravona, Prof/Cball, and Blarvel in there for comb with Gilgamesh. I guess IH might be better than Blarvel, as I'd get for 2 cost, with Ravona. If you get Blarvel off on a board full of stuff though, your gilgamesh gets massive. I need to try out Medusa, too. I've not used her in ages, and I also have that cool, variant.

any card can be changed in the game, if she overperforms she'll get nerfed. i don't think gilgamesh is going to be nerfed tho, he feels pretty balanced.

@7:17 can I ask how did you know if its not a bot? It is because of the infinity border? Because I rely now on untapped saying if it's a bot and manipulate the game accordingly.

Yep, bots don’t have infinite/spotlight borders or any series 4/5 cards.

How does thena work? Wording in this game is terrible. 2 cards exactly means 2 cards. So why does nina have 3 cards in 1 location still get buffed. I just opened thena and i thought she would be good in boardlock. Nebula or sunspot + thena should just auto win 1 location

Honestly since Loki got nerfed it really just depends on what you want to play more. Loki is still insane but significantly less than he used to be.

by basically winning the game at that moment so if all 3 locations count then you need to be winning 2 locations or if you are tied in 1 location then you need to have more total power than them
