FAQ #1: Why do you drag the razor over your face multiple times/multiple passes?
Answer: With traditional wet shaving the idea is beard reduction with every pass. We're not trying to get all of the growth off with one pass. Hopefully after the third pass, maybe including "touch-ups", you're able to get a BBS shave.
FAQ #2: What does BBS stand for?
Answer: BBS stands for Baby Bottom Smooth. Weird, right? It's the most accurate description, with a quick acronym, that I can come up with. (Most other wet shavers use this term as well)
FAQ #3: What do you do for work/a job?
Answer: I'm a network and server administrator for a private IT firm. If something goes bump in the night (or day) with a server, firewall, managed switch, etc., I'll be the one resolving it.
FAQ #4: Do I need a lot of stuff to start wet shaving?
Answer: Absolutely not. I started with Proraso's $10 tub of soap, a $20 badger brush, and used my cartridge razors until I worked up the courage to grab my first DE razor (a Van Der Hagen). This hobby can be expensive, if you let it, but a couple of good soaps/scents you enjoy, a brush, and an aftershave would work for most people starting out. Test the waters, find what you like, and try it! Happy wet shaving :)
