In this video we added a 50 Amp Marine Shore Inlet: amzn.to/2IqRcCC to the side of the bus and then used a 50 Amp RV extension cable: amzn.to/2STjwSf to wire it to a 50 Amp Main Breaker (Spa Panel): amzn.to/2Edre1p from there we used the same extension cable to wire it to a Square QO Load Center: amzn.to/2DJeSN9 and then we bought our shore cable (you may need a different size than we did so size your big power cable appropriately: amzn.to/2TNHUlG and finally we used some of these connectors to wire to our outlets: amzn.to/2DH3Xna
All of those prices were competitive at the time of purchasing and we bought it all on Amazon EXCEPT for the Square QO Load Center which was about $5 cheaper at Home Depot.

The bathroom walls and the kitchen counter frame will be made from waste plastic lumber. I will also add some Mid Century Modern furniture. I need to get a Garden Egg Chair and add legs.

So… I’m just starting the electrical on our conversion… wondering if you’d still use all this gear and do it this way, or if you’d do it different today? Hard to tell from your newer videos what you did on your recent conversion.. I’ve watched them all many times lol.

So did you just use the 50amp main breaker so you could easily turn off the power from that outside location or is it necessary for the whole set up? I'm planning to do my 50 amp shore inlet on the side of my bus and the electrical components under the sofa, so will I need the 50amp main breaker? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question lol. I have no electrical knowledge

No you don't need a main one.

Hey, Justin! I bought the Square D 50 amp panel, but got one with 50/50 in it, not 30/20, even though I ordered from your link and your link is clearly 50 amp. Is this a problem, or can I take out the 50/50 breaker and replace it with a 30/20?

Hey! I'm having trouble understanding your issue. You bought a 50amp "spa panel with breaker"? The link said it was 50 amps too, but you want to put in a 30 amp or a 20 amp breaker instead because you don't need 50 amps? The answer is yes you can put a different breaker in there.

@@MobileDwellings Okay, great! The 50 amp spa panel came with a 50/50 breaker, not a 30/20 breaker. I wish I could attach a picture to make it easier to understand what I mean. It threw me off seeing a 50/50 breaker in it when I was expecting to see a 30/20, which is what we see in your video. I thought they sent me something else by mistake.

@@MobileDwellings that's awesome I just wrapped up wiring except I got the wrong brakers for my sub panel sadly but from what I can see you have your ground fault (green wire) going into the equipment ground terminal on the 50 amp main lug correct
