They want sbmm cause they figured out they not good without it. Sbmm had them in protected bracket from the really good players. Now in xdefiant everyone is on even playing field so their exposed. Glad their is no sbmm in this game. Cod wont ever get rid of it. People just have to adapt

Love the points made in the video. Started playing online CoD late WaW and was so booty just wanted to be the one stomping people out. Grinded out MW2 and became NICE at cod after many of beatings to get me to where I wanted to be. Fast forward to past couple CoDs where I couldn’t even play with my friends cause they couldn’t play in my lobbies due to SBMM. UNREAL people are complaining about it in this game, but it’s because,like you said, they just aren’t as good as they think they are so when they are released to the masses here they get pooped on hahaha, haven’t even played many games past couple years for schooling and wow is this game a breath of fresh air, being able to get into all different lobbies where I destroy whole lobbies or am middle of pack. I'm a og cod player since cod 4 and I stopped playing cod cause of the sbmm there's no need for it. These new gamers doesn't wanna take the time to get better at the games they just want everything handed to them. I got my ass handed to me for months and months in cod 4 and I kept playing and eventually got better

I've been saying if for years now: THAT'S WHAT RANKED MODE IS FOR Unless I'm playing ranked(which I never do) I shouldn't be in a match with sbmm. I blame sbmm for being absolute doodoo at fps games because i dont have a chance to get better, im either playing my designated win or my designsted loss that the system has full control over and will pair me with players of skill levels that garuntee the predicted outcome before the game even starts. There's a skill ceiling with sbmm and it's simply wherever you were at before games started implementing cracked sbmm systems.

Fun fact: before mw2019 the SBMM in cods were very leaniant and were never an issue Imagine if they did that AND make sure it was fully optional would bring the old cod feel even further into xdefiant

Love this game. The first in many years without SBMM. You learn the the hard way to be good. I read on the web that devs will fix the hit detektion and netcode. No more COD for me🤘

Some damage tweaks would be nice (the cleaner incendiary passive lol) but other than that once I understood mechanics I'm performing well enough lol. There's still a bunch of people constantly jumping while shooting and they're the ones I always see dying in the feed, if I'm not the one doing it😊

I think another thing that no one talks about in modern arena shooters is the fact that lobbies don't stay together after matches anymore. Iv realized recently how much I miss that feature. It gave more depth to the lobbies you got in. You built friendships and rivalries from playing with some of the same players match to match. You got railed by one player in one game? Next game your looking for that guy specifically to get revenge. You were on top of the team and you see who's on top of the other team, the next game you notice y'all are on the same team now and you feel like y'all 2 are about to dominate. You talk to your team match to match. Stuff like that doesn't exist in modern shooters. Cod or xdefiant. I really hope xdefiant introduces that.

God i fucking love this game. People say its sweaty or whatever. Dude just warm up. Play for 5 matches without leaving and i gaurentee your aim and movement will be better and youll be set to play for like 10 hours if you really want to

I’m struggling bad with this game. Aiming and hit registration feels so off. Shooting enemies with an entire magazine only for them to bunny hop and kill me with two shots.

CBMM is the best, and using it and team balancing is perfect for general lobbies/casual play. No such thing as easy or hard lobbies. Good connection, random assembly of people. Then the law of averages kick in. Most people are average, fewer bad or good, and the bad/good would be split on the teams. There would be balanced, a decent game with good lobbies. As an average player I'd either do well or poor. It wouldn't be tilted, the poorer players on both ends would be bottom of the pack but they'd be able to see their level, learn and they're not stomped. SBMM is somewhat tolerable but bitter, everyone is roughly the same level and connection isn't ignored, hence why it's perfect for ranked, and should never be in general/casual. But, as I said, everyone would be the same level, and there'd be no stacked teams. And considering that CoD is nothing but stacked teams as you teeter totter between stomping and meat grinder - that's EOMM rigging, which needs a Viking funeral. Not to mention all the other manipulation. And truth be told, the teeter tottering even without reverse boosting means that easy lobbies wouldn't be safe as they have to occasionally feed people wins to keep KD close to 1, extend retention, and market skins. CBMM would be safer than EOMM then by logic. Also, if there is no EOMM, there is no reverse boosting, as there would be no easy lobbies.

A SBMM/EOMM Algorithm doesn't need to exist in any Casual Multiplayer Game. In a Ranked Mode, yes it belongs there. Call of Duty should have done away with the SBMM/EOMM Algorithm in 2019 and saved this franchise while simultaneously devoting that Algorithm to an actual working Anti-Cheat, not some Propaganda Device that Ricochet is. XDefiant does have a form of SBMM in it, exactly like Call of Duty, win 1 Game and suffer unplayable 5 Games.

I’m loving Xdefaint… BUT I would advocate for some kind of SBMM. The problem is - shooters are not like they use to be. Shooters are filled with psychopaths, cheaters and obsessed narcissists… most of us just want to play with casuals. Not the barbarian basement dwellers who don’t shower and obsessed KD. There has to be some kind of SBMM. I’m willing to bet by season one - some form of SBMM will be implemented - I hope so.

No sbmm is a good thing, I’m happy for the fact you can get in a lobby quick and meet variety of gamers. I think the amount of ego gamers have is affecting gaming as a whole. People thought no sbmm would mean you’re gonna stomp on people but now they don’t want to humble themselves. I think people take the game too personal rather than having fun that’s the problem with today’s multiplayer games.

Is it a coincidence that I have had more fun on this game than I have in the last 5 years of CoD? Nope. Also I have been closer to my actual K.D from CoD past rather than what it has been on other games from CoDs recent years. I have gotten stomped. I have killed lobbies. I have had good competition. This is how you do it. No SBMM. Just be ready for a potential easy, hard, and get stomped lobbies. Just have fun.

There are patents and other documents that prove cod has been rigged since at least advanced warfare. When I switched from Xbox 360 to the ps4 my kd skyrocketed. Also had two accounts on the original mw3 and I promise there was a major difference. Anytime I’ve played cod at my friends house their lobbies were easier. In college we all played on the same account for og mw3 and those lobbies were a lot of fun. I hate sbmm but people think it’s new and it’s just not. Something i hate when talking about sbmm is people don't talk about the actual truth with cod and their matchmaking they always think its Mw19 but its just not the case. It's a conversation most arent ready for... but Marksman said it many times. It was cranked with Advanced Warfare they had it applied to your overall account stats this allowed modded account frozen stat accounts dropping 5 nukes a game. This was tuned and changed over the years. Mw19 comes its loosened a bit but not really,. It's applied to your recent performance so then you can't have frozen stats 0.01kds but however this does introduce the new issue which is 2boxing and session joining. But As marksman said they probably are trying to counter how people do this nowadays. it's not an easy solution and people really don't understand this but the community is the reason for how it is nowadays. SHG has a blog post talking about matchmaking and reverse boosting cod didnt talk reverse boosting in that blog post because it helps them with money content creators reverse boosting so mindless people buy bundles its toxic its disgusting and that is why i will always forever support xdefiant and keeping things organic. That is why cod handles matchmaking the way they do not since MW19 like everyone thinks.
