I saw the leaked gameplay and it's a clear copy and paste with the same horrible map designs. That map in the hallway makes piccadilly on mw2019 look great. I wonder if the people creating these maps are campers because they make horrendous maps with so many corners and awkward spaces. I'll still play the game since it's free on game pass but to pay money for that heap of garbage hell no. I support coming to your own conclusions. if you think the game is DOA based on the leaked gameplay. Don't buy it. I also think what you said about SHG applies to 3arc now. I don't think that since Activision decided to place all games under the same umbrella that any dev team will have complete freedom. Similar to WW2 and MW3 (IMO) cold war was a great game AFTER the first few months. I have complete faith this game will be polished and ready to go on launch and become even better as the year goes on once Activision loosens the reigns to start micromanaging the next game.

the truth is that if you think Infinity Ward is the worst CoD developer and Treyarch is the best then you really need to think about it more deeply. BO4 was the game that was supposed to have doors and tac sprint, they just were incompetent as always and had to scrap it for release. They are also the ones that tried to make it more like R6 than Call of Duty. They are the ones that push for long ttk and overpowered defensive utility which in turn makes campers to be a pain. Also it's a fun thought experiment when you try to remember their last good flowing map that wasn't a remaster.

It sucks XDefiant has critical issues someone can just jump and you're getting hit markers with no damage for as long as they're in the air. I still play it despite all the spam jumpers abusing the broken hit registration. I also play CODM the matchmaking in that feels more like old COD to me so far (I'm level 63) i can do really good and not have to sweat the next game.

Honestly besides snipers maybe being a bit overturned i liked the maps. And doors have always sucked but being able to shoot them open with a bullet. Just makes it less of a problem.
