This song summed up the entire revival. We expected all the characters to have these amazing futures like other shows like friends, where everyone gets their dream. But the revival shows us real life, lane never becomes a rock star, lorelai never has her children, Rory doesn’t become a successful journalist, they just follow in their families footsteps like repeating the history. Hence the pregnancy and Lorelai venturing into become corporate like her father and lane working in the antique shop.

I cried when I heard this song. It resonated with me so much. My favourite moment of the revival I think - it was so touching

The only part of the revival I absolutely loved. I felt so many emotions and this song is so relatable. It is absolutly amazing and I believe Lauren Graham as well as the perform did a commendable acting job in this scene. It felt very raw. This scene and the scene when Lorelai calls Emily about her Father, really, amazing work, Gets me every time :)

This scene shows the range of what the lovely Lauren Graham is capable of. She shows us Lorelais self esteem as she enters Miss Pattys while Taylor and the others reprimand her with their eyes, Lorelais inhibited openness, her self-doubts, her fragilty. Lauren Graham is capable to break down the whole emotional journey of a fictional character that was carefully built up in seven seasons into a cathartic moment for her character and for the audience in just this one scene. Give her an Emmy, FFS!!!

I really cannot understand the hatred towards Rory... They say they are GG fans and then they say they hate Rory. That is f***** stupid. How can someone hate 1/3 (or 1/2 as some people see it) of gilmore girls and say they are fans of gilmore girls. That is just stupid. Real GG fans will love thier Rory no matter how she turned out to be. I actually see a jealousy in people. These people hate how Rory is loved by a whole town, her relationahip with her mother, her inheritance, her smartness and her education. She was born entitled. How can that be her fault. But she and mother tried to build thier lives outside what thier name brought them. But when needed, they both got support from thier inheritance. Becasue of that she had choices that most of us didn't have. How can that make her annoying?. That is what made GG unique. When Amy Sherman Palladino made Gilmores super rich, that is what she wanted to happen. That was part of the plan!. If that made Rory annoying, then don't watch GG or say you are fans. People talk like Rory is a failure. What nonsense !. She had a great education and great career. Yes, seemed she had some sort of a crisis in her career. But who doesn't. She will come out of it. She is still in her early 30s. She has a yale degree. She can start a new career. She will still have a great life. She will still have a loving home. She will still have a whole town adores her. She will still have her inheritance from her great grand parents, her grand parents and even from her father. So still her life will be awesome than most of ours. So i say to all "Rory haters". Stop being jealous of what you don't have and grow up !

I can honestly say I totally fit this song and am like Rory. Growing up, I knew just who I was; an actor. I had plans (not just a dream) to move to Hollywood after graduating high school. But I wen onto Community college as a backup, just in case (my mom's idea). Found out I was not college material and flunked some classes. So not really a student right now. Than decided to stay in CO until after my 10 year reunion. My phrase was "I want to see if my friends remember me for me, and not just cause I am a celebrity". Well, I am 36 years old (in 3 years will be my 20 year) and given up on the goal of being a celebrity. I really needed to hear this song, cause this is exactly how I feel at this point.

To be honest, I only started watching Gilmore Girls because I read somewhere that Sutton Foster was in it, then read that she was only in the revival, in one episode. I had already began watching the series and liked it but was still looking forward to seeing Sutton. The first scene I saw her in, I got excited because I love her as a performer, but then this song came on, right at this moment in my life, and it just described everything I'm feeling right now and it made me love her and the show even more. Thank you for uploading it ❤️

I sat and cried my eyes out when I watched the show. It struck a chord. It was like she was singing my life. Bravo to the writers. The writing of the show was always of the highest caliber and these 4 episodes are no different. I hope they film another series of episodes or even better, a spin-off focusing on Rory. That's all I will say so as not to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. If you haven't seen it, what are you waiting for? Go watch it!
