I worked the Steel Wheels Tour, I was always impressed with Charlie Watt's calm demeanor and his intense performance on the drums and percussion. A truly nice person and a gentleman. He will be missed as much as his memory will be treasured.

The performance took place at Twickenham Stadium in London on July 25, 2003. Lisa Fischer is a world-renowned singer, and her performance on "Gimme Shelter" was nothing short of incredible. Interesting to see the three living Stones walk back to the stage high-fiving fans energetically. And then there's quietly Charlie Watts walking back first. Part of that is because his drum part is coming up real soon and no time to waste. But his stoic demeanor compared to the rest of the band personifies his stabilizing quiet but strong impact on this legendary band. Great footage, great rendition of a classic.
