Gimp 2.10.8 standard installation - Windows 10. Always check all your settings and options with the ones in the tutorial, not only the ones that are mentioned. When you use an image with a different size, you might need to adjust some of the given values from the tutorial.

...honestly, I'll probably never use this series of tutorials but I THOROUGHLY ENJOY listening and implementing the new techniques you explain -when and where I can. GIMP has come a long, long way and with every photo I touch now, I appreciate it more and more.

As always Jan, you have created a fantastic fantasy video. I had never been quite certain about removing a section of an image (like the sky) but this video clearly explained it - now to be able to repeat the procedure! Hey, I think I'll download the instructional pdf to take care of the memory loss we old folks experience ;-)

Yet another beautiful fantasy image, the pace of your work makes it so easy to follow and, if desired, work alongside. The techniques you use are easily understandable and can easily be transferred to our own images. Great work please continue with your excellent contributions.

Het leuke van jouw tutorials is dat je het hele pakket van GIMP gebruikt. Ik gebruik zelf bijvoorbeeld bijna nooit de dodge & burn tool. Ik gebruik een kwast en pas die een beetje aan om ongeveer hetzelfde effect te krijgen als jij. Trouwens, wat ik wel veel gebruik is G'MIC. Ik ben wel nieuwsgierig waarom jij dat niet gebruikt in je tutorials :-) Alvast een heel fijn weekend!!

Ha die Frank😉 Dank je wel voor posting je leuke commentaar. Ik probeer idd afwisseling te brengen in de tutorials en als ik jouw post lees, lijkt dat een beetje te lukken haha. Tot nu toe wil ik het met name voor nieuwelingen in Gimp niet te gecompliceerd maken, (downloaden en installeren) en daarom wacht ik nog wat met G'MIC. Maar ik zal het in de toekomst vast en zeker gaan integreren. Jij ook alvast een fijn weekend.😎

Hi Manish Singh😄 Thank you!! That's a bit of a mystery... When you want to save your photo, you have to go to file and then export or export as... Save or save as, saves your project for Gimp as an exf file. But why your colors fade I can't tell from here... sorry 😕

Salam Nezar😉 Thank you for you positive and nice comment. Opening the 4 images as layers is just a methode. It can also be done in many other ways, but in this way you don't have to open images again and again. You only have to make them visible and active when they are needed. Have a great weekend. And if I see the same photo in the pen drive then the color comes very dark Plz solve my issue

It does make a difference on what screen you view your image. This image can be a bit dark and when your screen is calibrated a bit dark, the view gets even darker. Maybe try to make it lighter when you make the tut...? Maybe first flatten the image and then apply the curves filter.
