Today's tutorial will create a Sports Poster design in GIMP by contrasting the jersey with the bezier tool and using the hue and saturation menu to match the color.

Find the Tutorial Assets section for the images. Trace around Giannis using the Bezier tool in GIMP.

Do you have any tips for cutting out players from photos? I have a hard time, especially with football (‘soccer’) players, because of the grass blades covering parts of the boots, etc.

only scale once in gimp to keep the quality. otherwise the quality will be lost. The solution is try to undo with ctrl+z to the default position and scale again.
