This is beautiful. I’m actually really scared for them. Im trying to stay hopeful but I’m just really sad. Im terrified to lose them. They mean everything to me. I wish EJ handled the prom date thing better. Gina worked so hard to plan it. She’s been really insecure recently and I think that made her feel even more insecure. And then when they were looking for the fireworks, EJ noticed Gina being sad and you could tell he felt bad. I hope he makes it up to her in the next episode, to let her know everything is okay and that’s he’s sorry. That firework scene is scaring me but I do have a theory. What if it’s because they haven’t fully expressed everything to each other. They are both still holding back a lot. I think they will get their firework moment during or after their love confession ( which now I’m more certain we’ll get one) and that would parallel the Troy and Gabriella scene in the second movie. I do still have faith in them. But they really need to have a long and deep conversation. They need to share how they are feeling and what they are going through. We need couch scene level vulnerability and maybe even more than that. EJ and Gina are fighting for each other. They’ll be okay.

This edit was so good, thank you for making one each week even when it’s hard to find new clips. I have a feeling that at this point in the show (especially with the whole fireworks thing) they’re gonna break up gina and EJ one way or another. I have hope that it won’t happen, but that just seems like what it’s heading towards. Am I the only one who feels like Gina isn’t really into Ricky? I feel like they’re setting up Rina for season 4 or something, but with the way Gina acts it seems like she just sees Ricky as a friend. I love Ricky and I hate to see him sad about losing his chance with Gina, but sometimes a crush just has to stay a crush. Anyway, wherever portwell is headed I am so grateful to have these edits to look back on. Amazing work!

Each one is a work of art and you have a knack of choosing songs for each chapter of the story, and I think that's what I love so much about watching your edits, to see such a beautiful and moving snapshot of the characters' journey throughout the season as you retell it.
